I like that they never made a Lemonade Mouth sequel, since it stands perfectly by itself. Also, the original novel was darker, including details about Charlie's twin brother having died before he was even born.

Fun fact, Camp Rock 2 wasn't filmed during summer which is why you so often see people wearing jackets, it was so cold during filming you can also see people's breath when they're singing sometimes.

Literally my highschool got new tvs and a new gym floor that needed to be replaced after water damage the next year, instead of buying new desks, new computers, fixing the bathrooms where sinks don’t work and doors don’t close, spending money on the arts or anything. Every time i rewatch lemonade mouth i think back on it lol.

Bridgit Mendler is actually really talented but it's different from Naomi Scott; they are both fairly indie influenced but clearly Naomi went on to be a disney princess and bridgit released eps (which i enjoyed) in between schooling and now is currently on the road to her pHD. In addition, Hayley has been doing musc too and has found a lot of success with her music after lemonade mouth.

When Camp Rock came out I was 11 and for some reason I just LOVED it. As a shy girl who liked to dance it was kind of inspiring to see Mitchie come out of her shell to perform. Now I can see all the wrong things you guys pointed out and how cheesy it is, but somehow I still feel nostalgic hearing bits and pieces of the songs. It was a good time.

My thoughts on: camp rock: It took me this ling to realize no one saw Mitchie step out of the catering truck. If they did, the whole conflict would be settled in five minutes. Caitlyn does seem to be more of an audience insert the more we watch it. I do feel the songs are better than the second one. Camp Rock 2: Wouldn’t change a thing, introducing me, and heart and soul were my favorite songs in the movie. Axl could have chosen any location for his camp, but he chose across the lake. Maybe that was all he could find, but he did not need to create a feud either. I also don’t approve either camp creating burnout by making the campers practice for hours on ends. I get not everything is not about fun, but burnout shouldn’t be a factor either. Lemonade mouth: In retrospect, detention is not about sitting around for hours. I had detention once and we had to do homework and answer teacher’s questions and other stuff. It is a punishment and making sure they don’t repeat behaviors. An easy way to not want to go back is doing easy chores. I feel it is entitled to expect to not do what the teacher wants to do when it is a punishment for a reason. As for Wen’s dad, he just springs his girlfriend on Wen expecting him to like her. And I would be extra pissed too if this new girlfriend moves in without his knowledge. Who does this? One day, Wen leaves for school and when he comes back, the moving boxes are in the house. What the heck? All three of them should have a conversation first, especially since marriage is part of it. Not blaming Sydney, but knowing this dude’s son is uncomfortable first, do not agree with marriage until you get to know the child first and make him feel safe with you. Wait to move in. I do like how she seems to care about Wen than the dad does, to be honest.

As a stepdaughter myself Wendell is way too old to be acting this way about his dad having a new partner. The only thing that would justify his hurtful dismissiveness towards that poor woman was if they had got together through cheating on his mum.

I have been told there are reasons given in the book, but they would never talk about them in a DCOM. He is apparently sexually attracted to her and feels uncomfortable with such a young person trying to act like his mother. I still think he is acting incredibly immature and unnecessarily rude even with those reasons though. A teenager can avoid a person without throwing tantrums.

Always loved the camp rock movies, but I won’t lie when I say lemonade mouth was subjectively better. It’s way more grounded, it’s written better, the comedy is better, and there’s nowhere near the level of cheese (which is good but only in small doses imo)

So to me the most annoying part of Camp Rock losing the competition was that Connect 3 is like the Jonas Brothers in this universe qnd the amount of following that would have voted just based off them alone would've caused camp rock to beat camp star imo

I feel like they went into every movie with the mindset that they’ll hate it so they were extremly nit picky. “Lemonade isn’t even good, bad movie” someone walks different and “it’s cringy” You can 100% hated these movies, but it’s like you hated it before even watching it…

Camp Rock stands for "let's rock" which is an idiomatic expression that means "let's get started" or "let's have a good time" and participate in an event. It's not about the literal rock songs/genre. ps. I don't think so that both of you know music and how music industry works. The ignorance shows.

I feel like if they had flipped the roles of Brown and Axel it would've worked a lot better. Brown as a rock producer that helped his nephews break into the industry teaching young kids how to maintain your integrity while making way with your music, and Axel as a bitter ex band member that keeps a grudge from when Brown left the band and is one of those obnoxious rock stars with an overinflated ego. As a child I didn't care though because I had a crush on Nick Jonas lol. Also when Mitchie says "she's really good " after they played the most unhinged collection of sounds ever is seared into my memory forever, I love it.

You say Camp Rock has no rock music. But you're misinterpreting their intention. Camp Rock was named because it is located on a rock. About being in the presence of rich people while not being rich. I was 15 years old the first time I was at a business conference with wealthy business owners. I never hid the fact that I was 15 years old. I've always been a great speaker. It's cliche at this point, but being underestimated is a terrific asset when mercilessly exploited. LOL.
