Now this was one the last best live action Disney movies. A kid going to a superhero high school that didn't have powers at first. Sky High kept being on Disney Channel for the past two years in the last 2000s with Holes and R.I.P. Kelly Preston who plays the mom. The parenting portrayed here is what NOT TO DO. They have these extremely high expectations of their son and yet never communicate with him nor see the potential he may or may not have. They EXPECT him to be like them and they ASSUME he is. As a parent myself I'd never do that to my child. They aren't you, they are themselves aka individuals.

I read a Marvel Comics Spider-Man novel, once and in it Peter talked about how New York City has a "Hero Emergency Special Insurance Company." If Iron Man blacks out the power on your entire block using tech, it's covered; If Hulk runs through your house while chasing an enemy, it's covered, If The Thing uses your car as a weapon to hit someone , it's covered: etc.

I was so shocked that they glossed over the “I am not Wonder Woman you know” comment considering she was the original Wonder Woman in the show. Well, as a kid, I did not know this until my mom told me and have only recently been exposed to it. But now knowing the reference, I am surprised they did not do the cheesy turn transformation scene. Would have added so much more humor to it.

Layla is the best character in this film - she's smart, loyal and badass. She acc has one of the best powers tbh, & I love how she's so skilled w/ her powers despite how rarely she uses them (13:18 31:34). 3:36 Danielle Panabaker is also great as Cailin Snow/ Killer Frost in The Flash lol (6:38 35:02).

This movie is so good. Also the girl who played Layla is the girl who plays Caitlin in the flash. Love early Disney 2000s movies. Think the first time I might have saw this was in 2010 or a few years after 2010. I would always pretend that I had superhero powers whenever I watched it/after I watched it. It’s a nice fun kids movie and I still love it to this day. Also my favorite spy kids movie is spy kids 4. Love to see you and movies in depth do some more collabs. Love your videos!

Every once in a while my mom would pull the "I'm the parent" card and just for no reason invent something I NEEDED to do just to invoke her dominance. Generally my mom was reasonable. You want your friends over?? Gert your chores done first. But like I said every once in a while I was all good and she LOOKED for something the needed to be done RIGFHT NOW. And it wasn't even something that important most of the time. but you know parents. They the ultimate rule changers whenever it suits them.

Danielle Panibaker has always been one of my favorites! I love her in this movie and I always wanted her powers growing up she’s a bad B at the end when she ties up Penny in the weeds! Awkward situations where a friend or classmate is arguing with their parents was always awkward but sometimes fun because free drama to watch. Love the new spelling bee segment!!! Favorite spy kid- I’m going with the 3, the first holds a special place but the 3rd is pretty great. And boys you two are dirty mouths.
