I read a really interesting theory on Reddit on where the franchise could've gone and how the boy could've been brought back in a later movie: "They easily could've made a movie where the necklace is reintroduced by Manny having kept it. They could have done a flashback sequence in the form of Manny remembering to himself the adventure all those years ago. Maybe the baby could now be a tribal leader with the "myth" of him having been saved by animals when he was younger bringing him great status among his people. Maybe they could introduce real historical elements into it. As I've already suggested, maybe the human transition from hunter gatherer to farmer , which archeologists tell us in fact did happen at the end of the last ice age. It could center around the tribe going hungry because the animals they hunted were going extinct, which they also say really happened. Then the tribe spots Manny, perhaps the first mammoth they've seen in years, and the story becomes a journey of them pursuing him and him trying to escape, of course with the help of Sid, and Diego. After a long journey they finally corner him, and the leader yells at them to stop right before they strike, because he recognizes the necklace that Manny has held onto. He sees it as sign, let's Manny go, vows to not hunt again , and finds a new way to feed his people....farming. Of course there are many gaps to fill in but I think the story line could've worked. Also it would appeal to the fans like us who are older now, but still fondly remember the movie by reintroducing the very first character- the baby. He IS the reason that Manny, Sid, and Diego met in the first place. It would all come full circle. I think it would be a beautiful closing for the franchise."

Italian here. About the black people in italy: yes, they're around, but they're basically at the outskirts of society. I could not name a single famous or successful black Italian person. They're reduced to those weird, "friendly but in a slightly creepy way" dudes who stand outside of supermarkets asking for the coin you put inside your shopping cart. I HAVE seen black people here who are just... Regular citizens going about their lives... But istg I've only met like three of them, none of them above 20. Also, Ice Age 4: Continental Drift (July 13, 2012) doesn't feature Bryan Cranston, overall, Bryan has been in really good kids movies as they said. Since you guys did mention Madagascar, I need a Madagascar 4; I am already making one. I am dead serious I have been working on it since December of 2019! I am almost done. My plan is to finish the book, send it to Dreamworks, and get their permission for the movie, the movie is almost finished. I have been taking my time on this movie. The plot is Alex and Gia get married, the gang soon meets the North Wind from Penguins of Madagascar, and they finish their final circus performance of the year 2027 or later in Toronto; before their vacation, until Gia is pregnant during the trip, they run into Dave the octopus from Penguins of Madagascar and another villain named Pulsestrike who is a very deadly python, who has a back story to Alex's family. The animals have to fight in Madagascar after their vacation is over. Alex and Gia have their cubs and all of the circus animals, and the North Wind resides in Madagascar. The circus continues traveling while still residing in Madagascar and the North Wind stays in Madagascar but uses a portal to travel back and forth to different parts of the world for spy missions, which is Kowalski's new invention. The whole circus and North Wind meet the characters from All Hail King Julien and King Julien regains the throne after Clover and Sage step down from their positions as king and queen of Madagascar. There might be a show at the end of the movie focusing on the characters' new lives in Madagascar but will focus on Alex and Gia's cubs. This is my idea for the plot of my title Madagascar 4: A Vengeful Caribbean Vacation. I want it to be released in the summer between maybe 2028 to 2034. Thank you for everything. While Diego dying of his injuries after the final battle would've been more emotionally impacting, I think being presumed dead until the ending is sad enough to still hit kids in the feels. Plus, had he died, the sequels may not have happened. It's hard to imagine the franchise becoming as enduring as it did without such a fan-favorite character. So, all in all, I think it was worth it (at least up until Ice Age 4; The only redeeming value I saw in that film was Diego getting a love interest).
