Honestly, the first 2 seasons of Rick and morty were fire in 2013-2015 and still are now. The newest season isn’t bad but I found the first 3 episodes to be mid, most recent 2 are actually great. I just think Rick and morty doesn’t have anything to prove anymore, and the writing can be so far up it’s own ass sometimes.
