The anime part was actually animated by Studio 4C (a japanese anime studio) but Ben Bocquelet (the creator of Gumball) asked first studio Trigger to do it (the studio that animated Kill La Kill) but they were busy and couldn't do it, which is maybe why the animation turned out similar to Trigger style animation since he probably asked Studio 4C to do a similar style to that

Studio 4C is a big corporate-creative studio, as in, they don't necessarily do it for the quality of the art, but they constantly move forward to further their technical capability and are open for third party assistance work. They can do some awesome stuff like Naruto games and Asura's Wrath, alongside some totally cynical, soulless content, which I always took as an unfair criticism, it's more of the symbiosis of balancing the two that makes a studio successful. Work is work. That's why my favorite studio will always be Gonzo. I'm not sure how much Trigger fits into that description, but they're a lot like Platinum Games which is somewhere in between. Btw wtf for is my man over there actually watching Love Tyrant, for, like, ever in their life 😂

I like that even though Richard plays the role of dumb, Homer-esque, husband, we still have episodes like the Choices which show that him and Nicole both genuinely love each other and Richard does provide to the relationship. Puts it above marriages in other cartoon sitcoms.

I really like what they did with Penny as a character, a lot of plot points in episodes or character changes are quickly dropped the next episode but it was a nice change of pace to have practically a brand new character design in all future episodes featuring her!

Trivia that I know somehow. In the earlier years of the show people shipped Gumball with Carrie (the ghost) a lot, to the point of more often than with Penny. I'm convinced the reason Carrie ended up with Darwin was because of this and it being referenced in the fanfiction episode proves it. I know this because me and my brother would read bad fanfiction to make fun of it.

The copycat episode was so good, from them pointing out the Chinese Gumball knockoff Miracle Star by makign their own in-universe knockoff characters, and having th joke of no copy Anais do to the One Child Policy, Anais suggesting the Watersons ramp up the dangerous things they do in hopes that that the copies "off themselves in the process" basically she's sayng she hopes they die in this, ending with Anais saving the family because she can fit and unhook the truck, then the copies going over the edge because they don't have copy Anais, Gumball then asks :Are you ok?" truck explodes and you hear te copy Gumball weakly say "no". Guball casually goes "Eh, good enough." Just a great funny episode with Anais being the important factor in the end. I'm just going to say the copies died from their injuries later.
