Otherwise, it is a browser-based game like Club Penguin where your own character visits islands for self-contained adventures, with a few of them offering continuous plots. Jeff Kinney created it, believe it or not! It was quite fun to play, though it's been years since I last touched it. I wonder how much it's changed since though, especially after Pearson bought it from Kinney lol

The disease was spread thanks to some berry yogurt or soda iirc lol My favourite islands were Vampire's Curse, Steamworks, Shrinking Ray, Astro Knights (I always made the ship out of junk lol), Great Pumpkin, the spy one, the greek mythology island (the minigames were a treat) and Twisted Thicket (the magical forest one). I think the survival island you're talking about was after my time playing the game. It's been over 10 years for me since I last played Poptropica lol Good times :>
