Hey Paul and Michelle. I’m your neighbor over in Palisade Co. Love the channel. I had a 1955 Chevy suburban that was my grandads. He drove that thing to Alaska and back. He once made a wheel bearing out of a piece of leather. Those old trucks were indestructible. Sounds like you’ll have some good times with your 1950. I’ll be watching the build. You have a great family, love watching your channel. We’ll stop by next time we are in your neck of the woods.btw I’m an old man named Kim too!

I had tears in my eyes watching this. My Dad that I lost back in 2001 was a house painter and we had one of these old Suburban's with windows when I was a kid in Southeast Idaho. We would go camping in it on the weekend several times a year and I can still smell the paint smell it had in it today as I write this. This will be a very great build to watch. What a great guy and I know you will bring this old truck back to life and I look forward to watching!!

Had to look up that Myers power sprayer. They were made in Ashland, Ohio by the F. E. Myers company who in the early 1900s was the largest pump manufacturer in the United States. I graduated from Ashland University and worked at the local hardware store where we sold Myers pumps. I would guess this pump was from the 1960s. All I could find similar was the Silver Cloud sprayer from the 50s.

I have no issues whatever they decide to do, it's a rough world out there currently. I just personally don't care for that other channel or it's content ( rather how it is they can afford to purchase the things and or make the content they do) I guess it's safe to say I just like to see a good channel that became great, stay true to and within the bounds of it's roots and people who made it what it is. When people go from a flat bottom to a hovercraft or a drag car to a fleet... kinda a turnoff personally but I'm probably a old fashioned, stick in the mud genX'r who's just loosing my faculties ✌️😆.
