@@johntaylor6283 yup that is true. We race a similar class here in the N.E. Dirt series. Unfortunately the price of race fuel ($10.50 per gal for VP98 crate motor fuel) makes break even a bit tougher also.

Yeah . Back when I was in racing the street stock ran an 8" recap tire stock exhaust manifold no screw jacks and basically a stock motor but rebuilt stock heads quadrajet carburetor

When we ran street stocks from 98-05 up here in middle Tennessee our rules allowed us to run jack-bolts, on the rear we could run a three or four link with a J or straight bar and either a lift bar or a biscuit bar. With a Hoosier RC-4 on a 10 inch wide steel wheel. The engine rules allowed us to run a built engine up to 360ci and any 4 barrel(we ran a big Demon carb), so basically a steel head limited late model engine. We had to run a steel body and weigh 3400lbs until the 2001 season which is when they lowered the weight to 2800lbs and started allowing all aluminum bodies, but all other rules remained the same.

Been watching a few videos of ya'll the last few months. FIRST OF ALL... Love the "Jesus Lives" on the back of the cars! YES HE DOES...Amen! I watched the race on a live feed from someone at the track. That 3 car is tough. Joseph needed some traction. He had all the motor he needed from what I could tell from qualifying and hot laps. Good luck at Nationals!!

Hey, I like most people have been watching for a while and I don't know if you read your comments or not but, I would really like your team to come to Gaffney, South Carolina, and race at Cherokee Motorspeedway. On October, 2nd they are running a $10,000 to win super late model race. It's a world of outlaw race so you'll have some competition. You obviously don't have to go. I'm just making a request and hopefully, you can at least consider it or even better show up! Watch for the 14 of Ben Keith and the 444 of brook strength and 12 of mike horne at the nationals. They're bad fast. I know those Mississippi boys. Used to race against them a lot.

You should have watched the 3 car more Joseph and look at the line he is driving and the way he drives the track. I think u had the better car u just weren't taking this line on the track. Go back and watch this video and watch the 3, like u would watch tape on an NFL team ,(your opponent) if u were in the NFL and I gauruntee u will get him next time if u do.

looks like you have plenty of weight transfer but lack forward bite. maybe your pull bar /lift bar needs some attention. watch the 3 car- it is more flat and the tail is not hanging out- his car wastes no time sliding the tail. his car is moving straight ahead. good job. got what you could and the car is in 1 piece.

Put a spring rubber in that left rear and its good to go. Unless you have weight Jack's. We used to alternate 2 turns from the heat and feature on a 1/4mile track like that one.

Why did you set the car up to run high on the track then not move to the high side asap it kills a lot of speed and momentum to pinch the car down coming off the corners, fast times really cool isn't it? just saying,great job guys,Thank you

Drop your left lower link one hole on the chassis, and if you guys run a pole wire soften your pull bar biscuit for your dry slick setup. Your driver is having to wait on exit to get back on the throttle because your chassis is hiking up too quickly.

you need to search NZ Street Stocks, fully exterior barred stock cars, or even NZ Superstock teams racing, over here we would almost class these as a super saloon, or A grade Saloon. Stock car or street stock here means contact and lots of it
