Come to Northeast India during Hornbill Festival in the cold season of the year (December 1-10). The air are fresh and there are a lot of similar delicacy of Japanese and korean. I swear you will not regret visiting the beautiful place.

Not so fun fact of the “filthy people” (homeless). In Japan there is minimal homelessness because they just rent a space in the Internet cafes and sleep there. Homeless tend to get bothered if they stay on the street and kind of frowned upon. So if you look into the statistics they have near 0% reported homelessness but if you look in an Internet cafe later at night you will see most small booths checked out.
