We went swimming with WHALES in MAURITIUS...before the lockdown!
Mauritius took our breath away once again with this amazing experience!!
A few weeks ago we hopped on a boat in Tamarin (west of Mauritius) and ventured out at sea for hours looking for whales. After what seemed like an eternity of searching we finally found pilot WHALES!
We jumped into the sea and went SWIMMING with pilot WHALES! It was absolutely amazing! Despite their size, we felt safe and humbled swimming with these huge creatures! Mauritius really has so much to offer!
Editing this video made us realise just how much we miss being outside and going on adventures, so we decided to build a camp fire on the beach and have a little barbecue. It wasn't much of an adventure but it felt nice to do something that reminded us of what awaits once lockdown is over.
