I was at the first night's event... They let us in to Guardians starting at 9pm with a wristband (official park close time) even though official party start time wasn't until 10pm. We waited a total of 15 minutes for our first ride, then got right back on it and waited about 30. However, at this point one of the stations had to be shut down, and didn't come back up for the rest of the night. We got on a third time later, probably waiting between 45-60 minutes. Even with the ride running at half capacity, we could have easily gotten on five times had we just marathon'd it. The key takeaway for me is that because of the virtual queue during normal hours, it doesn't take them very long to "clear out" the queue of day guests, thus getting on right at 9pm is a smart strategy, whether you're looking to ride it multiple times or just get it out of the way quickly.

Also, #Important: 1. Disco Inferno, 2. One Way or Another, 3. Conga, 4. I Ran, 5. September, 6. Everybody Wants to Rule the World. That's the official order. Top four are interchangeable, 5 and 6 lower the ride experience. Can we replace "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" with something more upbeat like "Turn Me Loose," by Loverboy?

Yes! Our first ride was with Everybody Wants to Rule the World. It seemed slow and kind of off, like it was slowing down the ride somehow. Our 2nd ride was with One Way or Another, and it was so much more fun; seemed faster somehow, more exciting.

@@laurabowden6508 we got in at 8 and rode Mission to Mars and Test Track before 9pm - you can ride anything the same as normal parkgoers. Our strategy was to hit Test Track right before (and/or during) fireworks at 9 and that worked out; wait was maybe 20 minutes despite being posted 50.

In my opinion....theses after hours events are worth every penny. You experience the rides and the parks in such a different manner. The ride lines are so short....it's worth the cost to our family! The Animal Kingdom was such a great night. Same with the Magic Kingdom. Love that they are doing EPCOT now as well! Hope to get to be down there tor this park as well! Love Molly and Alan taking us along for the night!!! Thank you!

I think it would be really cool if you did a part two to these videos, where you go to Epcot during the day and try to do all the things you did at the event. You could then compare how much time/ money each one took so people can really see whether these events are worth it for them.

Love EPCOT! That is why we stay at the EPCOT resorts, for the deluxe resorts extended evening hours. Only two hours and no free treats, but you can get every ride done at EPCOT at least once 🙌🏼

Helpful video - it still looked quite crowded. The first after-hours events truly were limited capacity, and they were much more fun as a result, with walk-ons for all attractions, rather than 30-40 minute waits for the popular attractions.

My favorite memories are of Epcot extra magic hours (or whatever they were called) at night back in the day. The parks are always more special at night and not having that sun boring holes into your head is always a blessing. I miss old-school Epcot! I hope they never close Spaceship Earth!
