Hahahhaha :D I love that you say that in the US the cities are not proud of themselves or have parades like that :O I lived in SC for a while and the US is sooooo amazing at doing parades for everything. Iam from Germany and I was at the German heritage parade in New York and in KC and in Chicago :D Those were way bigger than something youd find in Germany. Germany is a little more intimate though in my opinion.Definitely smaller here. PS: Oh maybe I misunderstood you. You said festivals for each of the small villages :) PSS: Landshut, even Munich and Berlin is like two different countries right? :D

I didn’t know about that. It’s maybe more in California where you don’t really see cities having a festival to celebrate a battle they won. I’ve been to North Carolina and for sure those states have more intimate events compared to Southern California! Beautiful states! Landshut is in Bavaria, I think it’s like a state within Germany
