@@madstayy but thats kinda how grief works anyway, some people take time to process what happened , some try to take their mind off it, it can have its ups and down, you can think your over it and then be sad again. Maybe it was a bit weird but it ist completely off either

@@madstayy That's how grief works. One moment you're sobbing and the next you're laughing about something stupid. And then you remember something and go back to being an emotional mess again. It's not linear its a process that's different for everyone. Also, remember that she and Billy weren't actually that close and he was pretty terrible to her, so the way she would be processing the grief wouldn't be the same as if someone she was actually close with had died. She also mentions in S4 how she tried to move on and be happy and pretend that everything was OK, but it actually wasn't.

​@@madstayy I mean Max as a character is very closed off emotionally. This season we see it more where she still try to pretend that nothing is wrong when she's clearly going through a lot. Grief and depression don't always show but it's there. The ending in season 3 shows how much the gang still tries to lighten up each other's mood. I think having moments like this with each other is what kept them going
