I think that friend of yours, doesn't know anything about Shanghai. Stopped comparing Shanghai to BGC. As they don't have different history. Shanghai experience devastated during the japanese occupation, while BGC doesn't experience any devastation during the war. I suggest that you study history before comparing. How old was Shanghai compare to BGC??? Do you know any history. Shanghai have a history, while BGC doesn't have any BGC.
