About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first KZbin channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

Just to clarify something for you. It is not the government that wants workers to have more time with family. It is the UNIONs that have negotiated all working conditions. If the politicians had their way, particularly the conservatives (Liberals and Nationals) workers would be working till they dropped. Americanised "no worker rights"

Yes soo true soo many birds. Watched 2 loriceets the blue green red ones. They were each others mate and sitting together in a tree today at the park. They looked so cute nuzzling into eachother. Also gave a bird some water it looked thirsty. Drank out of my lid I left on the ground for it to drink from. I never see this many birds vs NZ. I feel sad thinking if the bird n.os are depleting back home in NZ. They're all very beautiful besides the crow noises 😮 what is that? people say when we call back home 😂😂 oh its a black crow...

It's really cute seeing you react to the birds - we have so many species of birds here, and hearing different birds at different times instinctively helps me know what time of day it is. Sulphur-crested cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets, rosellas, kookaburras, galahs, crows, magpies, pelicans, seagulls, ibis, willie wagtails, currawongs, bowerbirds, lyrebirds, and many more - all super common to see where I live. Black cockatoos are less common (I still get extremely excited to see them personally) but they are around my area too. I don't think it's less exciting to see a group of cockatoos, galahs, or lorikeets flying around just because I see it a lot, but I guess I also wouldn't point it out excitedly to someone else - it's just a lovely magical thing that isn't unusual to see, if that makes sense?

I knew about the cockatoos flying around, but they were in such a huge flock and it looked like they were flying in a murmuration (where the shape of the flock shifts constantly and there's not an actual leader but they are able to space apart and react to each other)! Glad you are appreciating your travels! Also fun to see RJ enjoy the details too! The ibis was really beautiful. Like a fashion runway ibis. Maybe you will get to see some wild parrots closer.

Welcome to Sydney Mikey & RJ! I hope you have a great time here. I glad that you noticed how Australians protect nature and wildlife. I think you would love living here and would blend in quite well. Hehe People in general eat healthy kaya we had to adjust when we came here and until now hinahanap pa rin strong flavors of Filipino food. Kids aren’t even allowed to bring unhealthy food to school. Most Australians are morning people and love sunshine and exercise. They value work life balance which is what I love the most here. Hope you have more time to explore more of the country. The weather now is beautiful. It’s hot for them but I like it. It’s like I’m back in the PH. I’m excited for you to see all the animals and plants here. Enjoy!

The black birds are actually ravens. Sydney doesn't have any actual crows. Their eyes have a white ring around them and they're very intelligent. I hope you had a great time in Sydney. We love going to the restaurants where you had your pho in Mount Druitt. My grandkids love the play centre there.

New sub. I live in the outback, we regularly have kangaroos hopping about town. We also used to have two peacocks who just wandered around our local gardens. I've never seen anyone so excited about a tree, and I love it.

Everything here is organised, even driving, sometimes it’s traffic but it’s acceptable I shared this video to my nieces in Manila so they can have a glimpse of Sydney, my son is getting married next May 2024 and they’re invited. The Ibis you encountered is thr Australian White Ibis, better known locally over there as the "Bin Chicken" because it is know to scavenge through garbage for food scraps. Those birds that you thought were crows you encountered in the parking lot are apparently Australian Ravens according to a quick google search. Their range also checks out as they are one of the most common corvids one can find in several cities including Sydney. Really interesting that parrots are just flying freely over urban and suburban areas over there. Those Lorikeets you mentioned must have been Rainbow Lorikeets. Man if ever my relatives over at Australia ever invite me to visit, my camera's memory card and any spares I bring along might quickly get full of pictures of the different wildlife that can be found there haha. Looking forward to the Featherdale Wildlife Park vlog since I missed the facebook livestream earlier. I've read the Featherdale mostly have native Australian Wildlife on exhibit and has one of the world's largest collections of Australian Fauna. Speaking of zoos, will you also be visiting Taronga Zoo by any chance? It is also in Sydney.

Ravens?! Wow! It's my first time to see them! I always thought they had some white on them. Also, yes, parrots and cockatoos EVERYWHERE!!! Australia is handsdown the craziest place I've ever been to, to spot hookbills, especially cockatoos! In fact, all kinds of birds! Mindblown!

Hi, so nice family staying at the home, sad seeing the dogs they use are going away 🥺. Amazing first start trip to Sydney 👍. I lived there before so long ago a fast life. Malls are amazing, food is yummy 😋 lol use going hardout on the TimTams 🤭. Nice to see the vegemite and you got all your healthy ingredients. Lol, the oak box has a opener on the side to pour 🤭. Great video. I agree about the lovely flora and fauna in Australia. That's why we moved here from Manila. Fresh air, practically light traffic for most of the day, better quality of life in general.
