So good to see you enjoying NYC. My daughter lived there for over ten years and I loved walking around all day seeing all my favorite sights from movies and such while she was at work. After the years passed, it became like a second home to me with all my visits. I ran into familiar and friendly faces I'd met over the years and just loved the neighborhoods & culture & vibrancy of it all amidst the chaos! She moved back to Nashville 4 years ago and I've loved having her nearby, but I sure miss my frequent visits to the Big Apple! It was wonderful seeing the two of you walking and enjoying the city in spite of the snow! Hope the holidays were happy at home with your families!!

Another great video. I’ve never been to NYC, but I think I’ll pick a warmer time of year if I do! I watch your videos in the bath, my husband always says it’s the closest I’ll get to sailing, he can’t understand why I’m addicted to following a sailing channel when I get sea sick in a pedalo! Although I’m a mindful of knowledge when it comes to anchors! If you ever find yourselves needing a base for a stopover in Kent then you’re more than welcome to crash with us xx

You two like swimming underwater , so cool fact the Brookland bridge is where people first really learned about the bends . The workers were going down so deep to make the footings and staying down so long that many died when they came back up. So the engineer looked into it all and worked out that time down under and rate at which the people came back up all were connected to how well they did.

I had to write you and tell you something because I know you sometimes think, "Wonder what our viewers think of ....." My wife and I are OVER 70. I've been in every state in the U.S. except Alaska. I've been in every Canadian Province. I've been north of the Arctic Circle and south of the Equator. I was stationed in the Caribbean while in the Navy. I tell you that to help you understand that I know a bit about your travel trials and tribulations. My wife and I have looked at each other just as you did in this video and asked, "What the F! did we do this for?" Remind me. LOL The obvious and easy answer will come to you for the rest of your life. Before you were born, we went to NY for the fourth of July and the 200th anniversary of the U.S. I've been on Times Square for New Years Eve and froze my butt off. And if anyone asked.. I'd tell them it was worth it. ALL great memories and ones you brought back to me today so clearly. It almost brings tears to my eyes with emotion. THANK YOU for sharing. God bless and keep you so that you may continue to share.

You cold frogs need to visit NY in April-May, or Sept-Oct., for a much more suited to you climate. As someone born and raised in North America(north of Canada actually:) that wasn't cold at all, the snow wasn't sticking..the water wasn't all frozen, and after spending a winter in Alaska, that would be t-shirt and shorts weather, lol. We skied up in Canada in the night time at -24C, but I do understand, you just came from the balmy part of the world, and it does take a bit to acclimatize, kind of like me leaving Surfers Paradise in OZ, driving down to Sydney, hoping on a flight to LAX, then another from there to Detroit on Jan. 3nd 2011. 92F (33.3C) and in less than 24 hrs. 8F (-13.3C) snow cold and frozen..and I was still sporting a bit of sunburn from the beach ;) Hope you had lovely weather back home though, and a even better Holiday Season!
