The ending of Hanging In is aggressively addictive. I can listen to it forever. It just makes everything better.

The More I Sleep was one of my favorite albums this year by accident. There's nothing better than jumping into an album by a band you don't really know and feeling a connection to it before it even finishes.

Best band ever to be apart of this world and in any era. unique music, distinctive motives, this band was born to be in the hall of fame worldwide and I know this cause I listen to music from classical to punk, rock, metal, rap, opra, to classic 80's like journey and Ozzy osbourne an this band in my head fits in right next to Ozzy osbourne in my top choices of music so I truly believe they should be in the hall of fame worldwide they deserve it. And to believe there so close as friends that should always be a dream. friendships normally don't last and to hear that they have known eachother since they were all children just earns my respect and touches me cause I haven't had more then 2 friends that I would take a bullet for in my whole life. I'm 22. One I met on ps3 and the other I've known since elementary school practically since I was 5 or 6. lol so I can imagine how close these guys to eachother. And are to be able to deal with eachother all the problems, ups, downs, good, bad moments. I'm sure it's nothing. compared to life itself. as long as they have eachother I'm sure life should or still feels like a dream come true. they've already earned more then my respect keep up the extraordinary work and it will pay off. You guys are outstanding 🤜🤛✊🤝

There's just something special about irish/scottish indie bands that started around that time. WWPJP, Frightened Rabbit, Funeral Suits. All amazing
They just rule. Album #4 and they still got the edge. They didn't turn nowadays Biffy or anything. It's rare, it's great, it's comforting.

Their name echoed in my brain with Kathryn Schulz's last joke at TED : "Where is my jet-pack Chris? I believe that here the crux were the voice: especially on the second song with a bit of a deep solemnity I almost recognize but not precisely... It reminds me some exotic Spanish/French ska punk singers… "Los Tres Puntos" (songs: "Les vaches et le prisonnier", "gregarit", "urgence', "terre de liberté", "Nostalgia", "ninos de la calle") and other bands in the same 90's hot wave (Scamemberts, "It' a Frenchy Reggae Party" (3 compilations) etc.) I don't know whether all those groups have survived or not due to the crisis. Although far leftist, the guys vocals resonate quite like infantrymen sometimes, even Russian one… Oh, they release an new album: Eldorado! Hey Chilly: what are you waiting for?! A bunch of dirty anti-capitalist not craving for papers to immigrate in the US… It would be a premiere! Would'nt be? (I also recommend : "Je Dépense donc je suis" means I spend (money) there I am" which is a playword inspired by Descartes. In fact, etymologically, 'penser' (thinking/pensar in spanish) are related to 'peser' (weight/pesar in spanish) and to latin pendeo, pondus therfore spend via Indo-European. 'Pesa' in spanish is rendered by: it matters!) "Are you ready"?
@philippemaricaille4894 жыл бұрын
I get it! "8°6 Crew": Album: "Bad bad reggae" (1998): song : "prohibition" among others. And, to be exact: "Vieille France" would be right on as a message to our old Atlantic ally… (Lyrics are on the Net easily translatable.) PS1: However, personally, politically, I've evolved toward the center of the exchequer although still with disruptive (but constructive) remedies. PS2: I wonder if the Algerian band of the 90's civil war Intik would have been influenced too by 8°6 Crew or not?
