Any footballer that plays can see how multi dimensional Captain Sonny is, 3 or 4 steps ahead of each play, it's crazy. If only there was a few more with same multi dimensional visions, effort, and skills, Tottenham would have been a dynasty for many years.

I think having some fresh legs in the centre is just smart management, simple as that. Nothing wrong with Madders performance, just good game management from Ange. I think Ange has come a long way in working out how to use his players in the kind of system he wants to play. Definitely going in the right direction. Kulu's first touch is one of the best in the league - I think it's an aspect of his game that has gone under the radar. He can do amazing things when given a difficult pass, always makes the perfect receive and turn.

This is 💯 right. Madders has been good for us this year, particularly paired with Kulu. Wasn’t quite working today, so Ange made the call to bring in Sarr for second half. All good. Doesn’t mean Madders is a bad player. Still a good player. Just wasn’t working quite right today. All good. Up the Spurs ⚪️👍

It’s very simple. Spurs did great today becoz some of the key players like Son got rest. Crowded schedules will fatigue the players. I wish they would just get rid of all international fixtures. Just have the World Cup and that’s it.

@bb5979 no one isn't talking about loosing its a matter of consistency, there is none at present. We win one or 2 games n everyone gets on like we won the league. Then it's a few draws n losses n everyone is back to reality. In order to challenge for top spot Spurs needs consistency, n that means winning more matches n winning against the top of the table teams.

I would like to tip my hat to the MOTM, Julien Lopetegui for if that was David “Fossil Football” Moyes at the helm, it would have been a difficult and boring game with maybe 1 - 0 as the final outcome.
