This reticulated python laid a crazy amount of eggs.. Pythons can lay anywhere between 12-48 eggs.
These eggs were really stuck together and we are excited to see the unique snakes that will hatch from them.

It's great to hear from you. The female snake you mentioned is indeed beautiful, and the size of her clutch is impressive. As for showcasing the hatching of these eggs, it ultimately depends on the content and updates shared by JayPrehistoricPets. While I don't have real-time information, it's common for reptile breeders and enthusiasts to document and share the hatching process, as it is an exciting and significant milestone in reptile breeding. 😁😁🤩🤩🤩🤩

Are those enclosures behind you what the snakes live in? They need way bigger enclosures with enrichment items like rock, bark etc that simulate the environment they came from. If they are just lay boxes, why don’t you provide lay area in their enclosure? Their enclosure, need to be taller at least to what you have, much taller. They need room to move and it should simulate their natural environment. Otherwise are you just keeping them to produce more babies, and is that why they are in smaller containers. Then they are just money making machines.

Snakes prefer enclosed spaces. If you were to put a snake in a sports hall with nothing to hide in it would make a very stressed snake. As Clint’s reptiles says, if you were a ‘noodle with a head’ too, the world would be scary to you also. so they enjoy tight spaces as it eases them. I guess it’s their coping technique for snake anxiety. In the wild, all they do is sleep, swim, drink, bask. The only time they do any real adventuring is when they hunt, and they are ambush predators so even with hunting they don’t do much moving. I know it looks nicer if they have a larger enclosure, but it’s not the end of the world. If you were to have a larger enclosure, they would find a small corner somewhere and fit in it as tight as possible and only leave that spot to shed, drink and eat. If you were buy a corn snake for example, great pet, they stay in their den or under the water bowl 98% of the time. They’re not like other animals, nourishment isn’t as important to snakes as it is to primates, birds, elephants, etcetera.

You think she was so much tamer this time because she was more thin than normal? Perhaps she just didn’t have the energy to try and fight. Honestly, I am shocked how thin she let herself get. I can’t imagine she would have survived if the eggs were to be left with her.
