Would have been better if the meeting was in a more neutral location, with Nueng there but out of sight, thus giving Anueng an escape plan if needed. It looked like she has Auntie Nim's acceptance, which could help with Anueng's relationship with the other staff members given Auntie Nim's position in the Palace. Will it make Anueng more careful? 🤔 It was interesting that her grandmother said to her "Don't get into a relationship yet, whether it's with a boy or a girl." seems to suggest that if Anueng did come out to her family about being in a same sex relationship, her grandmother may be more likely to accept it but not approve of it. Although the gf being Nueng is likely to cause a bigger issue with Anueng's family. Wanted a male perspective of Chet? Well.... He's a prat.😡🤢🤮 (prat - British - an incompetent, foolish, or stupid person; an idiot) Nueng jilted him at the alter and has not wanted anything to do with him for years. He spouts homophobic drivel to Nueng, who has a sister in a same sex relationship, that she approves of. Not sure if he would have known that. Nueng has made it absolutely clear she's not interested in him, but Chet is denser than osmium (densest stable element). Chet proposes to Nueng after slagging off her old school friend and gf's mother and doing so in front of Anueng. (slagging off - British slang. : to criticize (someone) harshly) Nueng a better mother than Anueng's mother; hypocrite. Me thinks Nueng made the right choice to ditch him. 🤥😾 Someone call a local farmer, there's a free pile of male cattle droppings 💩 available for collection.

I mean she is over 21, her real girlfriend is richer than god, her sister is a billionaire. She doesn't need the grandma or her dad for support. If they wanted to just say screw the family they definitely could. There is nothing stopping them. This is 100% about Khun Nueng making sure that Anueng still has family, such as it is, when they do. I mean honestly though, she is probably better off without Chet or the mom. Those two are a piece of work. He is complete misogynist and the mom is 14 kinds of delusional and both of them thing having children is like buying a new car.

I feel like chet is ignoring that fact that there is any or zero romantic relationship between him and khun nueng and still proposing her because he feels like anueng is close to khun nueng , so to win anueng's acceptance as a father and be close to her he has to marry khun nueng.. He is little interested in khun nueng but now it's more like the greed to become a father, he want s to take this step.

The only time he tried was to bring her to meet his family where he mostly focussed on the partying n get together, rather then trying to talk. Plus one more thing they are trying to show here is that, in our Asian culture,if are one you will know that homophobia is very common specially among elders, sometimes even with younger generation. It's seen like a matter of shame, they won't even want to talk about it. The more bigger the the name Or status/lineage of the family, the more you are to be "ideal heterosexual".... So that is why he is shown to have issues accepting her sexuality.

So they were doing what Anueng wanted. They cleaned it up heavily in the series, but Anueng has very eclectic tastes to put it mildly. That is what she was making Khun Nueng promise to do before she would go to Chet's place. I am not going to spoil the novel, but there are a large number of things that Anueng from the novel experiences that you don't see in the series when Khun Nueng did what she did to Anueng and they broke up. Let's just say she has grown quite a bit. Khun Nueng had to research on the internet just to find out what she was talking about. btw, I had to stop watching halfway through to go do something, but I came back for the stunned silence. lol Chet has lost all sense of reality, he only has an episode or so before his delusions are interrupted. lol Why he thinks she would like him even if he were last person on earth, I have no idea. I am kind of hoping for a confrontation between Anueng and the hot doctor. The doctor has impaired boundaries. That's not going to happen probably, but I am hoping it does.

Chet really annoys me with his disrespectful attitude towards both Nuengs. He entered Anueng’s life when she was already an adult, but rather than trying to connect with her, he constantly tries to push her into the role of his child. He’s never made an effort to have a real conversation with her, to find out how she feels or learn about her dreams. It’s as if her opinions don’t matter at all. He mentioned in the first season that he felt love for Anueng as soon as he discovered she was his child, but he fails to realize that she doesn’t feel the same way. He doesn’t understand, and it seems like he doesn’t care. It’s the same situation with Khun Neung. He’s in love with her, yet she has never shown any signs of returning his feelings. She even stated that he’s only in her life because of Anueng. However, this doesn’t seem to bother him; her opinions and feelings are just an afterthought to his own desires.

Well...khun neung now is the head of one of the royalty family, getting her as a wife would boost and repair his image on the public eyes; while able to getting close to his daughter through Khun Neung (at least this is a logical plan in chet's mind) however he definitely didn't think enough...Khun Neung isn't someone who would just go along with anyone's request, Piengfa would prolly be enraged and causing another mess or whatnot 😂

Khun Nueng never mentions specifically names but she made it clearly she was having one night stands but she looked at it with more practical way in her own words satisfying basic life needs like eating nothing special about it but with Anueng she kind of got addicted to it and wanted try everything with her started to be more braver and adventurous because Anueng was first person who made her feel anything,make her heart race and got her excited. As for doctor she had only use her when she got angry at Anueng forgetting about dinner with her being out with someone else. Yes Khun Nueng was as much petty as Anueng she wanted punch her back out of jelousy. She never cared about doctor and what really happened between them we are lerning from doctor herself in Affair novel.
