When I saw Wyatt eating snow it brought back memories and I remembered when I was a kid my Mom would make snow cream with a bowl of freshly fallen white snow , when she sent me out for a bowl she always told me to stay away from the yellow snow haha then she would mix it with carnation evaporated milk domino pure cane sugar and vanilla flavoring together yum yum!

We live in Michigan and it is common for the kids to use trash bags for sledding.. Make sure they are heavy ones and they work really well.. My kids preferred them over their sleds and they are relatively cheap and most people already have them in the house//

My dad used to snowblow our two car driveway all into one huge pile by the house. I didn't know it, but my brothers and all of their friends tunneled into the pile, and made a fort, burning candles to ice pack the roof. I woke up one morning, and the pile was almost as high as our roof. So I got out a ladder, grabbed my sled, and slid off the roof thinking I'd make it out to the road. Once I cleared the eaves, it was a straight drop down about 6 feet into a bunch of laps. It was fun....lol

There are rolls of a sandpaper like black tape that you can purchase at the hardware store. The only problem is you have to stick them on when the steps are dry and I think above 50 degrees. I use it here in NE Wisconsin and it works well and lasts for years.

Outstanding drone and camera footage! Just beautiful! When we were kids, we used anything we could find for makeshift sleds too. The snow shovel with the handle as a way to hold on and to "guide" us down. Cardboard in a trash bag and we'd get our legs and behinds inside the bag to keep us a little dryer. This was a fun video! You mention mud after the melt, if you shovel the snow from the stairs and walkway in wheelbarrow and move the snow away you prevent the mud. Anthony you mention you didn’t get the play in the snow as a child….go be a child.

There was a week in my high school years where there was about a week where the temperatures were such that the High temp was 20 degrees below. I remember times when it got so cold that the windchill stopped and could not get lower. I said all that to say this. You guys stole our winter on the ground right now is an inch or so. Keep up the good work all three of you. And please say Hi from me to your closest neighbor.
