Last summer I applied for this dogwalking position and was told it could also involve pet-sitting. Within the first week, I got a call from the owner/only employee to meet me at this elderly couple's home and talk with them about looking after their cat. This thing was old, and needed medications multiple times a day at very specific times. The owners were going to be away for five days, and required staying overrnight in case any immediate issue arose with the cat. The pay? $20 a day. When we left, I texted the owner and asked, "I don't think I heard that right when we left; was it actually $20?" She said no, it wasn't $20. It was less, because she takes a cut as the owner. I would have made around $16. She was outraged that I could be so greedy so as to say that was not enough to stay over at someone's house for multiple days look after a cat, as giving a medication only takes about five minutes, time not spent doing that wasn't *really* working, so even medicating multiple times a day worked out to an *incredible* wage for me. I did not continue with this professional opportunity.

It snowed like a foot and the plows weren't out because Chehalis/Centrailia is garbo. Im with chat on this. People who drive too slow in the middle lane are the cause of your "he's changing lanes like 500 times like an insane person" scenario. If people could drive proper others wouldn't have to weave through traffic, make illegal passes, and get into fights on the road because the dumbass in front of them keeps brake checking them even though they're proper distance away but they check you anyway because they want 2 more car lengths than what the legal distance is! I leave an hour before i go anywhere and still deal with idiots on the road! So your theory about leaving 5 minutes earlier is invalid.

Sad that it will never come back, but I understand his concerns from a content creator perspective. I would perhaps recommend that he pay less attention to chat, maybe make it a youtube only series and disable comments if that's what it takes for it to be a good experience. But it's time in the sun has kind of faded, the game _is_ actually nine years old, so I understand why you might never bother going back to it at this point.

Oof NL saying sitting in the middle lane is fine is an easy -2. It's not about cases where there is an on ramp every 5 meters but about all the other times where there is nothing for kilometers. Right lane completely empty and everyone sitting in the middle, not overtaking and not driving fast? Ok, so everyone has to now use the left lane to overtake them (legally) which forces the 500 lane changes and clogs up the left lane. Meanwhile the right lane is still lava. Especially infuriating when you're the one keeping right, but somehow drive faster then the middlers without even speeding, so you have to basically change 4 lanes every time. Yeah I''m mad.
