Yes seen that a few time, better then ruining something underneath the boat, usually I wait for them at the warf ,they give me a call ahead, on the way to the warf, a diver is a bit cheaper then destroying gear, I charge 60 bucks to go underneath and after I cut the rope of I go check again to make sure everything is ok, I fish lobster for 26 years on 45 feet ,fiberglass boat, we got towed a few time, it's life . This year going to film the dive going to be interesting to show the different mess that's underneath the boats. Great video,

What happened to that boat was that some piece of structure was broken that would allow steering. That was right there at the inside bottom back part.
