In this AU they are Katsuki's friends from when he was alive, as an Afton, so they were probably in on the plan.

@@ladyraven5619 It is okay, at the end of the video you might noticed that all of them change facial expressions, Kaminari's and Kirishima's face gets darker while the rest of the group gets a purple swirl in their eyes. It is clear that the song has some effect on them, to me it looks like hypnosis but that is just a guess.
