My heart goes out to you. My oldest has optic nerve hypoplaysia and all of the same thoughts were going through my head. The doctors were absolutely no help and Google is the worst. Do not panic until you have to. Keep your head up ❤

My little granddaughter recently had to get glasses as when my daughter had her eyes tested they realised she was shortsighted like my daughter.....& had the stigmatism as her.......She looks super cute in her glasses 🤓 & can see so much better....😘😘😘Try not to worry too much about James ,,,,,I feel if it was serious they would irrespective of the Corona virus have organised to have her seen...big hugs Ashley...xx❤️❤️❤️

I’m completely surprised they’re making you wait even with the quarantine. In Arizona all eye doctors are considered essential therefore have been allowed to stay open and accept patients. Granted they’re still under strict social distancing guidelines but it’s just a matter of calling when you arrive and they will call/text you when they’re ready for you and will tell you what room to go straight to. I would think with it involving a young child they would want to get her in sooner rather than later too.

Sending so much love! I went to see an eye doctor when I was little and have low vision in one eye. I had eye surgery when I was one and I also wore eye patches to help strengthen my weak eye. Didn't work, but it's all good. I'm healthy and love wearing glasses! I would never not wear them! She is so stinking cute and love following your journey!

My daughter was diagnosed with hip dysplasia in November and I always think of your video when you were concerned with James having it. And I’m so glad you guys didn’t have to go through it because this has been the hardest thing for us to go through. She was in the brace for a few months and ended up having surgery in February because the brace didn’t work 😔 prayers to your family and James that she’s healthy 💕

Dash reminds me so much of our Australian shepherd Flynn. Same coloring, very similar disposition. Flynn loves strawberries, apple slices (just be sure not to let them have the core), bananas, cantaloupe, and carrots. Praying for James. I’ve got anxiety and know it’s super hard not to let your mind go to the worst. Just remember, it’s not helping anyone to let yourself be anxious over it. Focus on what you can control for now and leave the rest to God while you wait this whole situation out.

I got glasses in the 2nd grade. My mom has has glasses since she was 3. It’ll be ok James! Plus you can get ones that are fun colors and I’m sure they even have “Dickey Mouse” ones out there ❤️

I understand your stress. My 20 month old daughter has a really bad lazy eye. She was supposed to have surgery last month but it was cancelled. My eye doctor warned us that we can save her eyesight in her lazy eye if we have surgery before she is two. Something happens in the eye maturation around two that makes their eye sight more permanent. The doctor and I are trying to get the hospital to let her do the surgery but in the end it isn't a life threatening surgery. She could go blind in that eye but she will survive. But in the meantime I don't know if she is having headaches and she falls a lot. It is very stressful. We are patching every day but it only helps exercise her lazy eye. It hasn't improved her eye control when her eye isn't patched.

My puppy LOVES blueberries. (He prefers them frozen.) You would be surprised at the number of things that are dog safe. Bananas, apples (no seeds or stems), carrots, green beans, plain yogurt. I tried watermelon (no seeds, obviously) with mine but he wasn't sure what to do with it. Good luck!

Prayers for James! We found out my son has astigmatism and is near sighted, He got glasses at 6 months old. A week later found out both of my girls had the same issue! Its scary but Its ok. Plus they look so cute in glasses

Could you start with a general eye appointment? Before seeing a specialist? Didn’t know if for peace of mind she would be able to see another office. Either way she is precious and God has her in his hands! 💛

We had the same situation last year at my son's pediatrician. I had to call around to find an Opthamologist to see him as soon as possible. One doctor told me 6 months and one told me 1 week. Turns out he is very farsighted. Little man is now wearing his glasses and we are waiting for a checkup to see if it improved.

We are in the same boat. We were able to find an optometrist (even though we were supposed to see an ophthalmologist) and now my just turned 3 year old needs glasses. I’m heartbroken because I wish this could have been addressed sooner. She will be okay so breathe :)

I grow pumpkins in my garden and I have dehydrated them for a dog treat. you have to roast them first then I cut them in to slices and dehydrated. They look like jerky when they are done. My dogs love them and it is good for them. Love your family!!!

My dogs LOVE sweet potato and pumpkin and as for Jamesy everything will be fine, it could eve be a malfunction in their equipment or maybe she blinked. You could try your own at home test have just her look at letters from different distances, and the letters be different sizes or with her babies set them up different distances and see if she can name which ones they are correctly. If she doesnt get bad headaches or rub her eyes alot from them hurting I'm sure it is nothing super serious.

Our dogs love green beans, we also keep canned pumpkin in the house. DO NOT give them celery or cucumber... they are naturally diuretics and you will most likely get lots of potty accidents if you do.

My daughter went through same thibg. Except she was 6 before we found out. We asked her previous pediatrician and they said no she is fine. Fast forward we moved to Oregon got new pediatrician and low and behold our daughter was really bad. 80/20 vision. Now 2 years later her vision has improved but not nearly as much as they are hoping. I think if we would have caught it when she was younger it would not have been so bad and an easier fix.

So i have blue eyes just like james, and my eye doctor told me with natural blue eyes like this your eyes are sensitive to light because of having no pigment which can also cause severe dryness for her. So they might be seeing errors because she needs glasses due to those slight conplications which sometimes cause stigmatisms, and with dallin having glasses its even more a possiblity.

My dogs only get human food treats (in very small portions). They love carrots both cooked and raw (so we mix it up), green beans, peas, broccoli, bananas, oranges, watermelon, cantaloupe, chicken breast, chicken liver, lean ground beef. They get a teeny tiny bit of salmon or tuna now and then (these have way too much fat) and peanut butter.
