I read some comments on another channel about taking it all apart and greasing all the pivot points and especially the screw mechanism. Will ensure smooth and long lasting running when it's got a few hundred kilos on it. I did it on mine and it seems to lift nice and smooth.

I have one of those lifts. Ive had a Himalayan and a Harley jacked up on it, both wheels of the ground. Totally trust it. It does wobble slightly but never thought it needed straps. All the best.
