So people that accepted this as a part of their field are being told a standard in their career field is still required. If the answer is no then the order has nothing to do with you. Also fi you were you would be used to the 8 vaccines needed each year to work in the field. Miss or be out of date in any of these vaccines and you are not permitted to work. The list just grew from 8 to 9. People that dont understand the field or are looking for 15 minutes of fame are acting like this is some new thing in the field. When I was an EMT the list was 7 and if I let one lapse or was late getting one I was not allowed to work.

The Spanish flu infected 30% of the world's population which was 1/6 of what it is today and cities weren't highly populated and densified like we have today. Less travel and very few hospitals to deal with plus medicine 100 years ago wasn't what it is today. .
