I have three children, twins and a single. The twins were climbing out of their cribs at 10 months old so we had to put them into twin beds early. We always had a bedtime routine. They got a warm bath, a snack and then to bed. We always read a bedtime story and then lights out. When we first put them in their beds one of us sat on a chair between them and quietly put them back to bed every time they tried to get up. We were serious with no laughing when they tried to get up. Within a week they were used to the routine and we never had a problem with bedtime. The key was routine and never letting them stay up when they tried to get off the bed.

I agree, with one addition. No talking. They know what you expect, they know the rules, you don't have to keep telling them. Quietly pick them up and put them back to bed...no talking. Talking stimulates thought and action. Silence is golden....especially at bed time.

I had 3 kids very close in age. At one time, all 3 of them shared the same room. Bed time was not an issue. A bath, then a story. Lights out. My husband work outside the home and had to get up early, so the whole house was quiet, and we went to bed early. He was out the door in the morning by 6 am. My children were so used to a bedtime when they got older on a Friday that when they could stay up later, they would just go to bed. My friend could not believe my kids would say I am tired. I am going to bed. I put up with a lot of things out of the kids, but two things I put my foot down were whinning and bedtime. A Whinny kid gets on my last nerve. You have a voice use it.
@mdolanot4 күн бұрын
Yes but we have 200 days of seeing they don't have consistency or consequences. The boys know that "don't, no, stop, put that back, get down....." don't apply to them. I also had three kids in the same room. No way would one get up and wake the others up. There would be a consequence.

Good luck with Harvey. He’s just acting his age. What a doll. One thing u might try is: a warm shower & no horsing around at bedtime. Bedroom is quiet zone. For all the boys. No climbing etc. yes means yes. No means no. You all will get there. 🥰. A favorite vid? Includes all the boys and Crandall doing the bike track. Marcie watching and filming.

200 days!! I’ve watched everyone on the same day that you’ve posted them! Congratulations Crandall & Marci!! That’s a lot of dedication and I’m sure the boys will all enjoy watching all your KZbin vlogs when they become much older! One thing I’ve been around my granddaughters a whole lot these past few months and one is 2 1/2 and the other is 5months old and one thing I’ve seen is when parents are at their wits end it’s when the kids like to torture them the most! It’s like they have this built in radar and know when mom and dad aren’t doing their best and they just do their jobs of pushing the boundaries. So one thing I’ve learned is keep your cool in those moments otherwise it just looks like two two year old battling for who gets his way. The parent needs to take a deep breath and or remove yourself from the situation and calm yourself. I swear being a parent is the hardest thing you’ll ever do!! God bless you all and Harvey I don’t think you are a little stinker I think you are an adorable little kid! 🥰❤️🍁🇨🇦🙏🏻

You need to keep them to a quiet routine at bedtime Crandall the bedroom needs to be for sleeping not playing, if you get them in their beds and do story time you could sit on the floor with a soft light and read a couple of stories that would help for a peaceful time off to sleep. 😊

For the boat, you need raptor bed liner paint on the outside and inside. It will seal all your leak’s.

They are all excited for the new bed set up especially your little stinker hopefully it will get calmer in a bit. Tell Harvey if he doesn’t go to bed and stay there like his brothers there will be consequences and stick to it both of you it won’t take long. I agree with some comments about soft music or maybe a bedtime story to wind them down first. Make whatever you do a ritual and stick to what works for both of you and the boys! Good luck and Congratulations 200 I’ve watched everyone of your videos thank you Crandall and Marcy nice job!

I can't pick a favorite vid! lol...I have loved them all! With my three kids, it had to be bath, then a story book reading, in their beds....it seemed to prepare them for night-night. But, every one has their own challenges. I think things will settle down though... God bless, and thank you for continuing the videos! (I know it's difficult at times!) Merry Christmas! 🎄

Harvey needs to learn to listen and do what he's told. If not, he may really be a handful when he's older. It's better to teach them to mind when they're young so they don't wind up in trouble later on in life, thinking they can do what they want. Maybe they need to learn not to play in the bedroom, that it's for quiet time and sleeping.

Being a mother of twins myself can I give you some advise. Have the bedroom be a place to sleep. Do not have it as a play room or they will never settle down to sleep. Teach them when they go into there bedroom it is time to settle down. Maybe read a story. When Crandall wrestles with them and then expects them to settle down they will be to wound up to settle down. I went through the same issues until there room became a place to relax and sleep.

@patwatson64684 күн бұрын
At one time I believe you had the boys split between two rooms, could you possibly use the second room as a play room and distinguish it from the ‘quiet/bedroom’ that way the boys can have a room to go to if they are upset, tired, don’t feel well. Perhaps you could get some cds or recorded stories that they could listen to in the quiet room and let them have just one soft, cuddly toy in there. Everything else is in play room. Just an idea. At one point my four were aged 5, 3, 2 and 1. And they had two rooms between them so I have an idea of the problems you are experiencing.

I ❤️ seeing the boys play and have fun. Also ❤ the remodeling videos and the cooking thanks Marci for the recipes ❤❤❤😊😊😊 I have an 💡 maybe if you have them run and jump around for 10 -15 min. Then take a warm bath with toys to play another 10 - 15 min. Then after the beds are made put the child in bed 1 at a time so each one has a chance to go to sleep without the other waking them up. 🙃 Maybe try this with the hardest to get to sleep first so maybe it will give him time to go to sleep without distraction 🤔. IDK it's a thought 😐 you probably already have tried it. 🤔 Good Luck

It is hard to pick a favorite, but I loved when y’all were at the beach with your family recently and I like when your parents all around. Maybe it was your wedding video that you played on your anniversary, so sweet to see y’all young and child free. I’m enjoying it more as the twins grow and get more manageable. I guess I need to give Lester credit cause that is when I first saw y’all and knew twins were coming or maybe that was Mav. Mav is a doll and very sharp, twins fascinate me. I have boy/girl twin grandkids with an older sister so I understand the chaos of your lives and want to squash the rude creeps that judge so harshly! Thanks for sharing and keeping it real❤❤❤

Don't dismantle it!! You may not want to trust it in the water but it would work great blind in a farmers field where ducks and geese etc go to feed. Maybe plant it in an area on land near a water source where the waterfowl frequent. Set it up a few days ahead of the day you're going to hunt. They may be used to it by the time you go out again. It may not float but it looks good. 👍🏼

A movie called “The Birds” pops up in my mind every time I see a huge flock of birds acting strange like those birds. 😂 Have you ever watch the movie called “The Birds” by Alfred Hitchcock? It is a older movie I think I was around 7-8 when I watched it and it scared the heck out of me. I thought it was real and that it was happening to people by the beach at that time. I will never forget that movie and how scared I got. My family finally told me it wasn’t real. Maybe that’s why I hate scary movies The boys beds are so cute. I can’t believe how fast they are growing and they talk so much now it’s so cute. Stay safe🙏🏻♥️ 🎄Happy Holidays 🎄🎅🤶🦌⛄️🎁☃️🦌🎄 God Bless🙏🏻
