I lived and worked in Parksville/Qualicum for 6 months for my first ever film job. It was so beautiful and I couldn’t believe how lucky I was so be driving up and down the gorgeous island highways all summer. Best experience and I’ve taken my husband a few times to visit for mini vacations.

I happen to live down the road from these spheres! They are actually located in Qualicum Bay near the Big Qualicum River that flows into the Salish Sea. This area is RICH in culture and history and it would have been great to hear about some of that😉

There is a land on this great earth. So impressive by its girth. From the Atlantic Ocean to the east. The Pacific Ocean it does reach. From Newfoundland to Vancouver B.C. Reaching north to the Arctic Sea. The Yukon Territory with the promise of gold. The wide open Plains a sight to behold. Bison replaced by sheep and cattle. Railways Cross with a gentle rattle. Ribbons of steel skirt rivers and streams. Freshwater lakes fill a travellers dreams. Snow capped peaks that pierce the sky. The wind in the trees that reach so high. From a restful sleep to slowly awaken. The aroma of maple and Canadian bacon. For many of us this is a magical dream. Through you Mike, much we have seen. When you are weary or need lite relief. Simply gaze at your flag with its red Maple Leaf.

Original idea ! Very cosi place. And the music at the end is really coool ! Funny thing is every time I see a sphere like this, it reminds me the movie Contact (1997) with Jodie Foster, Matthew McConaugheya and Tom Skerritt.

We stayed in the exact same sphere for our anniversary! It was so coooool! We hit up the Horne Lake Caves nearby too which I highly recommend. The welcoming gift basket they give you here was so tasty and big too. Plus a sauna! I mean come on.

I'm a bit late this week and I see why you didn't post until late. Looking forward to that one by the way. First reactions; Wow! What a novel idea for a glamp! Great to see Nicole again! Bong on the gong reminds me of Lurch in the Addams Family (You rang!) ! 'Nuff said about rockin' the orb! Glad you enjoyed the German Restaurant - always good to try new menus ! I can think of several places close to Melbourne where this sort of glamping experience would really take off - and there are many others in our wide brown land (and the little bit downunder populated by devils - Tassy if you haven't guessed). Thanks again for a wonderful video and keep 'em coming. Cheers from Michael.

Or which were mentioned in the liability you have signed? Looking forward to your next video. When you can travel again, you need to visit an island in Germany called Helgoland. It is great there. Just Google it and you can see a lot of nature (but only if the day tourists are gone) and you can have a walk at the coast and see thousand of sea birds. It has one of the largest colonies of sea birds in Germany. Stay safe, staff healthy and take care

In Canada, all those amazing places you stay at they alwayz have real nice gift baskets and snacks, its alwayz well done and so quaint. This was the most unusual and strange sphere place but definitely would try it out, can't knock it, til you try it. What is the circumference of the sphere? Maybe on day he will double up and make a two story and a couple side spheres, then you would be living like a gerbil. This was very impressive, I'm in awe right now, amazing!!!
