That's Black Lightning. It's not an energy bar, just a rocky road flapjack. They come in dozens of varieties and are quite cheap. I avoid them as they make me thirsty and are never as good as they sound.

How have you been to Japan multiple times and have no clue what Black Thunder bars are? Go to any Daiso or Don Quijote and you'll see about a dozen different flavors, and they're all $0.50 or less per bar. Every time I've brought these back home with me, my friends and family fight over who gets dibs because they're fantastic. And I'm not sure if they still have it, but the 7/11s would carry the Black Thunder ice cream bar, which was excellent as well.
