Im on the Tennessee side of the Dragon, i live about 5 miles from 129, i can hook my boat, stop for gas and snacks and be on Fontana in less than a hour. My question is, do Yall fish any other of the Mountain Lakes? Santelee, Calderwood, Cheooa, Chilhowee? My Dad and i fish Chilhowee all the time, Big time Smallmouth lake, but, their hard to catch because the water is so clear. Sometimes We have yo use 6lb line, they wont hit anything else. Any tips for fishing clear lakes such as Chilhowee, Fontana?
