On the show, Chloe was a very sweet girl and a beautiful dancer. In that LA episode Melissa not only spent one-on-one time with the producer: Maddie had private practice sessions in the dance studio and private time with Abby's dance assistant. It wasn't Maddie's fault (kids don't decide this stuff) but for Maddie to say she's the one who practices the most & is always in the studio was nuts... because the other girls weren't *allowed* to have extra practice sessions in the studio! Impossible to know what was the Dance Moms producers decisions to create drama & what was real, but to we audience members it looks like Maddie was given constant extra rehearsal time bc Melissa worked as Abby's office assistant for free, making her & her girls the favorites regrdless of which girls have the most talent or best shot professionally.

I know this is REALLY late but I just wait to say Lux and Chloe killed it and they slayed it. But I like how Melissa talked to seven to try get some ways for Maddie to get the lead and said Maddie was gonna get reconized but chloe on the other hand she was JUST like mini Lux. Cheeseforyourchildren no Maddie didn’t deserve anything she was a spoiled brat and talked shit about Chloe every chance she got, Abby always made sure Maddie had everything, and ruined Chloe’s chances many times. And when Chloe got the part in this music video Maddie cried like the brat she is and wasn’t even happy for Chloe, when ever Maddie got her awards Chloe always put on a brave face and was happy for her.

Maddie was clearly given the favoritism treatment and had a pretty stuck up attitude, while Abby treated Chloe maliciously. And funnily enough favoriting Maddie did not pay off for Abby, because now Maddie doesn't even acknowledge her even though Abby and the dance moms fame made a huge contribution to where Maddie is today
