Yes. Especially the second time when they took her back to see of she would go to her home. She must have been so frightened that she was being abandoned again. So glad they realized she didn't have a home to run to and took her with them.

Very true! That is how I found my pet cats, one had a collar on but it was obvious to me he was abandoned by his owners in my front porch. I just can't see how anyone could leave a domestic animal in a rural or urban area and think they will survive on their own.😔

I've never understood how anyone could abandon any dog, but for someone to abandon THAT dog is unbelievable. So cute, so sweet, so loving, and they left her in the mountains?! Horrible. I'm so happy they rescued her and gave her the beautiful life she deserves.

Oh my God! This just broke my heart. I don't even have pets but this is so heartbreaking and cruel to witness. Why would someone get an animal only to abandon them? The fact that so many human beings are heartless enough to abandon their loved ones so cruelly and without a second thought for them is utterly despicable. I agree, that was hard to watch. They were trying to do the right thing but a dog in that poor condition (and not even chipped) shouldn’t be going back to that home even if they identified it. I’d be more inclined to get her treated and retain documents and photos showing the dog’s condition, to prove that she had been neglected & HAD to be saved from the road. Then I’d get her chipped and take her. Might be legally dubious but morally it would be wrong to give her back to folk who clearly neglected and dumped her. That is not a dog who ran away from her people voluntary.

Because the couple set this up; this is their dog. For attention, they dropped the dog off, drove away and recorded their own dog chasing after them. Forget the sad music and the dog covered in ticks. This couple manufactured this story, seeking attention.

Thanks for picking her up and for taking care of her and becoming her forever family. I can't believe that could ever associate with anyone or trusted anyone capable of abandoning a dog or any pet !!! They are helpless without us and they trusted us, they dependent on us for their very lives !!! If you find yourself unable for whatever reason you can't take care of or don't want your pet anymore take them to a shelter !!! Don't just abandon them !!! Abandonment is never an option !!!
