IPI's Understanding Environmental Justice Laws and Policies Webinar

On August 22, 2024, as part of our EPA Region 2 Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Center (TCTAC), one of our TCTAC partners - New York University's Institute for Policy Integrity hosted Understanding Environmental Justice Laws and Policies, the first of a six-part training series to provide environmental justice communities - and those who serve them - with the tools to effectively engage with government at all levels. This training provided a high-level overview of key laws and policies that require the consideration of environmental justice issues in decision-making at the federal and state level for New York and New Jersey.
