We believe it is a strong stock. Fundamentals show the growth in the Sales and Profit margins when comparing TTM data. We see around 20% scope to grow in the stock as well. With healthy participation from MF's as you mentioned (21.80%), it is a good bet to invest as long as your portfolio is not overloaded with automobile or auto-ancillaries stocks.

Definite HOLD. Market leaders like Infy are also reporting very strong numbers when comparing TTM data. Overall slowdown due to fears of recession in US affected whole industry. Keep it until the company starts reporting poor numbers at which point you can switch.

In equity markets, we should buy with a reasonable assessment of EMP or fair price. Since the workings of these sectors showed promise, we suggested stocks from these sectors. Ultimately, the market price is determined basis demand and supply on the covered stocks. We buy good stocks, continue holding till they reach fair price or stop doing well in operations. If you make changes as situations demand over time, you earn decent profits. Never start with setting a time frame on any investment.

Thank you. While sales and overall profits may have increased for the company, the reality is that margins have been dipping a bit when comparing TTM data. So while, we cannot deny the strength of the companies fundamentals, important aspect now is to see how it fares vs historical analysis suggested fair price. We believe the fair price of the company is Rs 780, which is basically where it is trading now. Suggest to not enter at current levels.

Yes for TCS but not for HCLTECH, going by the gap between EMP and market price. But why do you want to select stocks from the same industry? Please diversify your investment across at least 5 sectors, at all times.
