We wre very much alike, 21st birthday came home from partying wwotth friends and down thhe 500 tablets of aspirin with the intent on ending my life of surffering and abuse! Of course I got so sick my parents wke up to find heaving up my guts in the toilet to eend taking me to the emergency hoapital, so much more humiliation!

As far as the drugs I wouldn’t sweat that! It was the sixties and early seventies! After 3 decades of war I think people were looking for change. And the hippies brought it! I don’t think what you experienced was a horrible thing. Everyone has adversity in one way or another. It lead you where you are today. That’s a good thing!
