Poland isn't 19% tax. It's 19% income tax for self employed professionals and on top of that 9% health tax and social contributions ,effectively you will be paying over 35% in tax. Same as most western Countries, just with more headaches, less services provided, and overall an aggressive Tax Entity that will jail you over the minimal mistake.

Enjoying 1% income tax in Batumi, couldn't be happier as a low-income entrepreneur. Keeping it to myself along with the many Russians, Belarusians and Ukrainians who hang out here. Sometimes I feel like the only Western European here! Especially during low season. So, I recently upgraded to Georgia from Bulgaria (about 14% total income tax in my case, due to social contributions...), and it's been great. Direct flights from Batumi to Istanbul all year. I personally don't even really see the point to Tbilisi. While it has less rain, the seasonal temperatures are more extreme (continental).

@@Night-nl8vo True, the summer months are hot and I wouldn't spend the majority of my summer there. Other than that it has 320+ sunny days per year, decent expat community, English widely spoken, beautiful nature (even snowy mountains), good internet connection. There is lot's to discover in the island, many off road trails to have fun with UTV-s to discover secret beaches. Also it has 2 airports which have many nonstop flights all over EU. All this while having low taxes, which is of course the main selling point for me. Sure, the EU wants CY to implement 15% CIT instead of 12.5%. In the future this will be for revenues exceeding 750M which will (unfortunately) not impact me. That said, If not for high taxes and socialist government I would probably pick Spain. And because of this little mistake, now the building has had to contract trucking companies to pick up all the sewage and human waste from the building! 😊
