Weapon Upgrade Locations | Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus (How to find most weapon upgrades)

Here are most of the weapon upgrade locations in Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. The Weapon Upgrade pick-ups allow you to improve each standard weapons 3 times. This guide covers the majority of weapon upgrade locations in the game. If you want to upgrade all weapons there is a trick that lets you cheese your way to the goal.
Once you unlock the Überkommandant mission on EVAS Hammer, you can select a district on the map and grab the weapon upgrade kit there. Once you collected it you can return to Evas Hammer keep the upgrade and collect it over and over from the same mission since they reset each time.
Here are most weapon upgrades in Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. Almost all of them can be collected during the main story run.

randomChievos you REALLY should re-upload this video and switch #5 &6, or at least explain to people that you mistakenly placed these two Manhattan Bunker upgrades in the wrong order of appearance. The one you have listed as the 2nd bunker upgrade actually comes 1st in order of appearance in the level, and more importantly, if you miss it trying to obtain your quote "1st one", you will end up going down an elevator shaft that, once you've gone down, you cannot go back up, making it impossible for you to go back to get your quote "2nd one" unless you were lucky enough to do a manual save at a point before you descended that elevator shaft. Sorry, I don't mean to come off as bitchy, but this happened to me, and it took me forever to realize where that "2nd" one was at, and that it was actually BEFORE that "1st" one, and I had already gone too far ahead and gone down that elevator shaft to get the 1st one. I got extremely lucky and managed to find a manual save that I had done before I went down that elevator shaft, but I had to backtrack a VERY long way on that previous save in order to go get that "2nd" one.

Another thing is that there is 2 weapons upgrades in the Transporthalle District, if you check his guide to the Max Hass toys at the part where he is climbing to get to the last commander, instead of climbing the shelves, go all the way down, it will be there.

For the second Manhattan Bunker there is a breakable wall above for ram shackle users early on.

You know, something else I don't like is the fact that he completely forgets to mention that this quote "2nd weapon upgrade kit in the Manhattan bunker" is actually the 1st weapon upgrade kit you will come across in order of appearance on this level. In fact, if you miss it (like I did initially) and go on to get the quote "1st weapon upgrade", it is actually further ahead in the level, and is down past an elevator shaft that, once gone down, you cannot get back up. This makes it impossible to go back to obtain the "2nd weapon upgrade" unless you by a miracle managed to manually save at a point before you went down that elevator shaft (like I did, thank god). So really, he should switch those two weapon upgrades in the order he lists them AND in the order he shows them being obtained in the video.

There are 20 total upgrade kits in the game not 17. There are THREE (3) weapon upgrade kits available in Eva's Hammer. The first one can be obtained BEFORE the Manhattan level when you first enter Eva's hammer. It's right by the stairs leading down to the shooting range. The other 2 are only accessible once you unlock the rest of Eva's hammer. EVAS HAMMER: Upgrade Kit #1: Found in the Shooting Range, just to the right of the entrance door. Upgrade Kit #2: Impossible to miss at the end of the Contraptions Obstacle Course. You can return here later if you missed it, or to pick up another kit. It’s right next to the button you press to open the exit vent. Upgrade Kit #3: The last upgrade kit in the Eva’s Hammer is found in the Kill House. Deactivate the trap entrance in the Shooting Range and stick to the right wall. Behind the bunk, don’t miss the kit. There are also TWO (2) upgrades in the Manhattan Penthouse: 1) On the Main Mission, find this upgrade kit up the stairs, in the back-left corner of the second floor. 2) The kit is found inside the metal faraday cage on the second floor of the “main” penthouse area. Look on the shelves along the cage walls. This is the room you start in when playing the penthouse side-mission. There's no second upgrade in the penthouse, that list is wrong (I scoured those Faraday cages looking for that upgrade), unless it varies from game to game. If you go to the command computer, it has icons for upgrades. There's 2 in the Transporthalle, which Gameranx also only lists one. It's at the bottom of the shaft you use to get up to the Transporthalle ubercommander.

If there's people getting 2 in the penthouse, either it's different on different systems (I played PS4) or different playthroughs. On mine, the final one I was missing was in the Transporthalle, which I only found because there were two icons there, and someone in these comments said where it was. I wasted way too much time on the Penthouse confirming there was only one on my playthrough.

You could always try the Uberkommandant missions and see if they’re still collectable there

NEED HELP BADLY!!!! is anyone having the same problem as me ?? when I get my head cut off then later get the new body and I picked my contraption, then I go through the training obstacle course by going through the drain.. then I get to the end and there's supposed to be a weapon upgrade kit at the end... its not there!!! no where to be found and I've looked at this video and have gone there! restarted 4 times still wasn't there every time.. there's no way to get that specific weapon upgrade till then right ? now I'm worried if it's a bug or if I already got it somehow which I don't think I have.... PLEASE! If anyone can help me by telling me I'm a dumbass and I already got it some other way.. or it's a FAT annoying bug that no one else seems to be having that I've read about thank you, I would really APPRECIATE IT!!!

Sorry i don't know about a glitch like that. But you can still get all weapon upgrades. When you go to an enigma mission where you kill the oberkommanders, grab the weapon upgrade kit in the area, but don't complete the mission. Quit out instead and repeat the mission. This way you can get as much upgrades as you want.

I picked Constrictor Harness at first and the upgrade kit is in the same room with Battle Walker which later you will need it to get out. For those picked Battle Walker at beginning I'm not sure where it would be. It also reflects on the world map that there are two in Transporthalle.

Oh I see what you were saying before. I think those 3 unlockable upgrade kits would be out of the scope for this guide since it depends which upgrade you choose. The other 20 upgrade kits are available for everyone in the same place. However you can actually get ALL 3 unlockable suit upgrades and upgrade kits in the game.

Thank you! For some reason everyone was ignoring the two upgrade icons in the Transporthalle, unless some games there's 2 in the Penthouse (certainly wasn't on my game) or elsewhere. Finally found it and finished upgrades. Also, to make it easier for those who chose the battle walker first, it's at the bottom of the shaft you use to get up to the ubercommander.

Can anyone help! I’m currently missing 1 weapon upgrade kit, but when I look at all of the locations in each district it’s saying I have collected them all?! I’ve been back and double checked every location and there’s none to be found. I’ve checked inside the submarine and as far as I can see I’ve gotten all of them as well. Does anyone know of any hidden ones?

One the war map the icon will only be slightly faded. I went through the same thing until I noticed this and mine happened to be in the nuclear bunker district #6 in this video. For the trick to get infinite upgrade kits, i assume you need to have the mission active each time? and you can't just visit the district after completing the Oberkommander to get repeat kits? i only need 1 more and have done all the missions.

You can replay the districts from the enigma map over and over. The weapon upgrades will always respawn and count as a new one.

To be clear you need to start the mission but not complete it. grab the kit and return to the hammer then repeat. once you complete the mission the kits do not reset. so anyone who has beaten the districts cant farm this. At least on Xbox one I know for sure.

Okay, that makes sense. If you grab the Kit on your first visit, will it respawn though? For example: if on my story visit to New York, I grab the 6 kits listed in this guide, if later on I access the Enigma Machina and go back to these locations, will the kits respawn? Or is once they are grabbed it is over? Also, how many Upgrade Kits do you need in total? I'm guessing, but it looks like you need 18, is that correct?

If i remember correctly the second bunker upgrade only showed up in the story run and not in the enigma missions. Are you starting the bunker from the map?

BUNKER UPGRADES: Upgrade Kit #1: Found next to the destructable wall / upper walkway you can reach with the Battle Walker contraption. The upgrade kit is outside the half-circle control room, on the right edge. Upgrade Kit #2: Just as you enter the area with the Ubercommander down the long two-story hall at the end of the sub-mission map, enter the hallway that leads to the second floor. There’s a tiny vent you can crawl into with the constrictor contraption. In the secret room, the kit is on the left.

This guide was done at a time where there was literally no info on how many there were and how to find them. Took me about a week to collect these without any help and i decided to put it online with the disclaimer "most", before spending another week looking for the impossible solution^^ I usually don't post incomplete guides so this was not out of laziness, more to keep my sanity after a weeks crushing work. Game was only available in german, but i speak the language so the experience was all there for me.

randomChievos Yeah germany is kinda fucked up with the way the conutry is still stuck up about the damn 1940s, they censor history in certain types of art to pretend it never happened. Next time you buy anything just order it from anywhere bloody else so you don’t get ripped off... you get all types of controversy censored in your products... damn i still cry when i remember what germany did Half Life.
