I remember ghost being the first console game I played that used dual render scopes, and really really liked it. Like back then, that was a big thing for me since I was playing stuff like Red Orchestra Ostfront and 2/RS but I thought only PC games could’ve handled it

Yeeah not sure how fast hands animations for the new COD would consider to be "realistic" by only having one shell in your hand and grabbing another one so fast, I would prefer either double or quad loading tube feds instead. The FP6 animation looks realistic because I'm sure an average operator or non-competitve shooters can have multiple shells in the hands and I really love the details with the fp6 though.@@user-7635h

I think the FP6 might be the most impressive animation in the game. That reload animation for it at 8:58 has great attention to detail with the shell loading, you can see the character move the next shell to load in until it's out. I don't think I've seen a game that does that. Although BO2 is considered to be last good COD game during it's prime, to me Ghosts was the last good COD game during it's prime.

What I remember the most is that you had to always switch your weapons like 3 to 4 times because of the animations especially for the sc2010 witch had an annoyingly long ass animation. It literally meant the difference between killing your target or losing that vital second cause your M9A1 had to do it’s animation!!!

I liked the way they handled scoping in with marksman and sniper rifles with how it blurs the screen instead of all-blacking it. I think this was the first game to not have your entire screen turn black besides your reticle. Improves your situational awareness to where you can see people coming close by, but not so much from far away.

The weapons in the old cod games were so detailed with tiny little details on them and various quirks, they fight real and distinct they had character, modern cod weapons on the other hand is just a bunch of grey and black bland weapons that look and sound alike and feel generic and boring, same applies to the campaign.

Its interesting to me that the Ripper and the RPR Evo from Infinite warefare share the same hybird idea. Both weapons start our as SMGS's, howecer they can be chnaged into an assault rifle varient on the fly.
