Have one in .308, absolutely love it. 1/2" groups out of the box. Also waiting for the 6.5 Creedmoor barrels to come back in stock so I can swap and shoot with it as well. Excellent quality tip to butt. Just a great rifle.

You’re very talented at speaking and video presentation. I really enjoyed your recce rifle videos and would like to see more about task oriented gear and rifle setups, esp for civs Gotta strongly disagree though about the DD. Nothing about DD is entry level. I’ve seen first hand, two $1000 rifles (begara HMR/ savage 110 tac) perform sub MOA with factory fed and hornady match ammo, HMR being in 6.5/ 110 being 308. Admittedly the mentioned rifles don’t have the features that the DD has, but that’s what makes them more entry level. Entry level shooters compete with the HMR in PRS just fine. Maybe I’m just pedantic

I wouldn't call the DD Delta 5 Pro an entry level system (certainly not for that price point either even before optic and other add-on costs), you can buy a Tikka T3 and get a Kinetic Research Group upgrade body/ frame for it and you'll still only be spending about half what the Delta 5 costs (and is lighter), and have sub-moa groups out of the box. Delta 5 is a sexy platform though (the barrel interchange system is a nice feature too), nice video brother.

WS got the DD rifle as payment for other work he provided as he said-- he wasn't paid to review the system specifically, and I have no complaints on that or his review in general, it's a nice platform. The only detail that is worth discussing is the price point, and merely naming alternative platforms at a lower price that provide very similar quality and performance.

very true. The thing about this gun, its production class for nrl/prs has a $2500 limit on the guns that come from the manufacturer. so. take that limit and throw as much into a gun as you can and keep it at that price point, thats the delta 5 pro

@@WeaponSnatcher Yeah I noticed that from what you said and looking at the option variables on their website, with their base Delta 5 model running 1800 bucks which is a bit more reasonable for the realm of consumers who don't have a large wallet at their disposal and aren't trying to shoot competition. Definitely a great platform, DD is quality that's for sure, "you get what you pay for" as the adage goes. I should also add referring to the Tikka/ KRG kit, the initial T3 will run about 8 or 900 bucks, and the KRG kit an additional 400 to 600 bucks (based on the variable model chosen), so it'll run about 1600 bucks give or take before optic and any other add-ons-- that's considered an "entry level" competition gun in conversion as well. Also, fantastic 100yd shot taking out that bug haha that was awesome. Keep up the fire brother!!!

I built an Aero Precision M5 in 6.5 cm with a Geisselle trigger and Christensen carbon barrel. I love it and it shoots half inch with my worthless ass behind the trigger. Only cost me $2200 before optic :)

Cheaper for them to send out a few rifles for free to the right people than it is to run effective advertisements. A lot of times, they just send out the product for testing & evaluation with option to pay for/keep later but the larger companies usually just write it off on taxes as their sales advertising fees...

If you're into the long range stuff, then TiborasaurusRex is also an awesome resource. His Sniper 101 series of videos is a bit old, but all relevant. It is incredibly technical. Hope you like nerding out to science, because there is a lot of that. Also, venture out to Eastern WA some time. We have some pretty wide open spaces to place freedom pills out to as far as your guns and skills will take you.

@@WeaponSnatcher We do most of our shooting on public land around the Tri-Cities. The unfortunate thing about that is that is that you are typically at the mercy of the conditions. When its 113 degrees out like it was yesterday, then the public land gets shut down due to the fire danger and doesn't reopen for awhile. That and when some douche dumps a trailer load of trash out in the spot you use, it tends to get shut down no matter how hard you try to keep it clean. We do have one spot where you could get to about a mile on a good day though. If you're ever out this way, hit me up and I'll show you where the spot is.
