You know, I hadn’t even remembered some of these items, until I saw the photos, seeing them in my dad’s closet growing up! The Sherpa lined denim aviator jacket with some thing my dad wore a lot of, and I believe he still has it! I remember bundling up in it with it down to my knees as a child, and it was so cozy and comforting. They will be new to a lot of viewers I’m sure. I love how fashion from previous decades is coming back with new twists or coming back as it was all together it just goes to show that holding onto pieces and not turning your closet over every season does pay off and is far more economical. I’m spending the next two or three weeks at the end of my pregnancy, then I’ll be postpartum through the winter so many things I have in my closet I will not be wearing this season, but keeping aside for next fall/winter!

I’m happy it’s going to be chilly for a day or two. I can’t wait to wear a sweater and some jeans. I just tried on my moto jacket to make sure it still fits me. And it did. I’m not sure with a sweater under it. But I have other jackets to wear. I like the aviator jacket. I might have to look for one of them. It’s not too cold where I am. But it does get cold for about a month out of the year. I have like five denim jackets. Different colors and different lengths. I’m not a silver person. I like gold better. I had a faux fur vest. I’m not sure what happened to it. I think I donated it. I live in North Georgia. So it’s not nearly as cold as when I lived in Ohio.

I spend more money on the classic staples in my closet. Trousers, jeans, and tops that are all in neutral colors or denim. Then, I allow a little fun money each season to purchase fun, trendy things. But I focus my larger investments in the classics.

I am wearing brown corduroy jeans style pants tonight and brown top with gold chains and a real coral strand necklace. Date night! Also our Hallmark carries some fashion items and accessories and the have this clutch like bag but with a covered handle and quilted in silver!! A couple comments: denim shearling jackets were big in the late 70’s or at least they were in my school so not a new look to me. Love fur jackets, especially fake, but why anyone would want a fake fur handbag is beyond me. They look cute but to actually use one makes me shudder at the filth they would pick up

This look of everything oversized just looks so sloppy. I can’t believe everyone is wearing it. I am only 5 ft. and I just can not wear it. It makes me look like a clown. But if your taller it will work for you I just can’t do it!

This was a good realistic video. You will never see me in leather or faux leather anything! Especially pants. I do not think they are flattering and they do not look comfortable. I feel the same way about leggings, keep them in the gym! 🙃. I do love a faux fur jacket, but please do not wear real fur.

Real fur is perfect in the cold Canadian winter I’ve worn mine for 35 years with my leather boots and will keep doing so 👍🏼
