John, Im a huge fan of your amazing videos of Weardale, allowing me to revisit many of the familiar locations we visited as children - including less well known places like Tunstall, Bollihope, Hillend, Rookhope and even Salters Gate. The quality is fantastic and the scenery just stunning. The best advert for a drone I have ever seen! Please, more of the same.

Thank you Henry, I'm really pleased you enjoy the videos, there are about 190 of them now and many of them are shot in Weardale. I still want to cover a few more areas but flying is very weather dependent ... and we live in Britain!

Keep them coming, John. I live in Surrey and dont get back up to Durham as often as I would like - to see my mother as well as Weardale! I have a few queries - are all 190 videos on You Tube? how do you choose your locations (I could not believe Saltersgate and Bolts Law). Why do you film at double speed, going by the speed of traffic. If I was thinking of buying a drone what would you recommend. I have many more questions but I don't want to stop you filming!

Henry Rawlinson m.kzbin.infoplaylists I think that should take you to my playlists, some of the videos will appear under more than one title, for example most of the Weardale videos will also appear under ‘County Durham’. I hope you enjoy some of them. All 190 videos are on KZbin. I tend to look for places with good visibility and away from people. I speed up the video during editing, they tend to drag on for too long otherwise, look at the one I made from Salters Gate to Tunstall reservoir - 21 minutes! As for which drone, that’s a whole minefield, I’d definitely go with DJI, there are newer models now than either of mine.
