I was there that night! It was amazing! Busta Rhymes opened for De La Soul and he brought Q-Tip (who had just come from attending a funeral) up on the stage to perform a couple of songs with him. Jungle Brothers hopped onto De La's set to perform "Buddy" without Q-Tip who had unfortunately left earlier. In the crowd, I spotted KRS-One, MCA (Beastie Boys), and Big Gip (Goodie Mob). I'm trying to remember other artists, but they elude me at this moment.

1992 after a show at a small club in Tempe, Arizona, Maseo grabbed me up and said, yo come kick it with us. He brought me on their tour bus, and took me to where they were kicking it at, and got to kick it all night with mainly Maseo. I was only 19 then. This moment really made me say damn, this what I really want to do. I never forget Maseo told me I remid him of q tip hahaha. I always wanted to know if he remembered this. Respect to the goats, and rip Dave.
