The Calsonic livery is one of the most iconic in the history of motorsport, not only in Japan but globally as well, and it's great that Nissan decided to use it for Sandown. Also, I think Jann Mardenborough is a very good driver, and I would love to see him having a go in a V8 Supercar. Maybe for the 2018 Enduro Cup?

Just thought I would add some detail here. FIA Group A officially ended at the end of the 1988 ETCC. Any series after that was run by national championship organisers. Britain, Australia, NZ and Japan continued as the major championships. Germany had started playing around with weights and turbo intake restrictors from the beginning of the DTM. So not strictly Group A. As a long standing touring car fan, I am not aware of any Calsonic Nissan sponsorship before the introduction of the R31 GTS-R in 1988. Have not seen or read of anything dating back to 1983 - even as a secondary sponsor.

Why Gran Turismo made Group C cars faster than modern LMP1s? In real life, it's the opposite... 88C-V < TS030 Hybrid Plus, the modern GTR R35 in GT500 is faster than this '91 GTR R32 Skyline.

It's all down to the stock gearing the cars had in GT. You can change the ratios to allow for a higher top speed. After the chicanes were added to the Le Mans circuit, reaching 400 km/h was all but pointless and unachievable.

Just wish that some day GT3 regulations will allow 4WD systems to be used. It's the only thing missing in the R35 GT3 race car to make it a true successor to the BNR32 Gr. A race car .

I prefer the r32, then r33 and then the r34. In my opinion the r34 is the worst by looking. But the last gtr is the worst.

Thats your opinion. The r33 is like a slightly rounder Version of the 32. So i dont know, why the 33 should looking "weird" in comparison. But ok.. the only think i know, that the r35 is the worst. xD

SONGOKU02 I agree, r33 has that round slick shape and a wide body 32 is just straight G, seen 3 r32's in the last week and it's hard to pick between the 32 and 33 sometimes.
