I was calling out to play Werner 90min this match to give him a chance to boost his confidence and resurrect his career. But little did I know Ange has his grand plan of playing him CF. *sigh*. I could see Werner a real chance of Werner giving the game away for at least couple of years or hanging his boots altogether. I agree I don't see why Ange's not playing Lankshear CF just like I didn't see why he didn't play Spence when we need rotations. I am a Spurs fan. I don't care how many players are out, our reserve team should beat Tamworth, yet we had several first team players starting and had to bring on several big players to rescue the game. It wasn't raining or extreme weather conditions, like the ball getting stuck in mud or players skidding all over the place. The fact is players like Werner and Johnson couldn't even perform against a non league side. Credit to Tamworth, they played well, but those two showed no quality or ability at all. I'd have no problem selling Johnson tomorrow for £15m and sending Werner back to Leipzig and pay up the rest of the loan fee. All the dudes on Tamworth running around out there with Dad-Bods almost beating multi-millionaire top athletes. Tired and thinking about the spreadsheets they had to turn into their bosses the next day. And to think, we took down a reasonable strength LFC less than a week ago. Imagine Conte's reaction to that, it would be worth the price of admission. He'd stroke out in front of the camera. I don't know where this club goes over the next couple of years but we definitely need some players who understand how to go about their business no matter what the situation.

I am still Ange in , BUT!. Werner at centre forward when Lankshear needs time . Spence should have started. Porro was getting roasted . Dragusin , and gray were getting bullied and Johnson did not want it all. fair play tammworth ,. The pitch actually saved us. That tame shot in the dying seconds that would have knocked us out was down to the pitch. The ball was bobbling about as if on cobbles and he scuffed it. And Tonks throw in . Holy shit.

I honestly think that you don't actually know anything about football. Often your comments are ridiculous and ill informed, you are typical fans in many ways but you have a podcast and should do better. Have either of you ever played the game or coached the game? I like the fact you bring content about my club but you clearly aren't watching games properly. To be fair you aren't on your own in this regard playing a side like Tamworth on a slanting frozen artificial pitch in what is the biggest game of their lives is going to be a challenge. Of course an early goal would have made it a different game but when you don't do that against any level of opposition they grow in belief and confidence. These things happen in football but your comments on Werner who hasn't been good are stupid he has won a champions league for god sake and he had all our best chances in the second half and would have scored but for blocks, good saves, and a goalie clearance. Comparing him to a non League player is ignorant and a shocking way to treat someone playing for the club you profess to support.

I thought Bis was our best... lot of clean up work and link up. This game reeked of a massive letdown after the Liverpool semi and look ahead to the NLD with Arsenal. A real genuine sandwich spot.. thankfully we came out the other side, all be it embarrassingly.
