I do have some criticisms of Ange though… He has a total disregard for the defensive part of the game and doesn’t care about clean sheets and his inability to just adapt his game, even for 10 minutes to win the game. Great show lads. Levy will not sack Ange until the end of the season, reason being he knows at this stage there is no hope left in the premier league , but he feels that we are in a safe position, based on the poor teams below us. However, based on the only team that we have beaten in the last 11 games is Southampton(worse team in P.L) he is playing an extremely dangerous game of Russian roulette. Just look at our next few games, where do the points come from? Teams like Ipswich and Wolves are more equipped to put up a fight to avoid relegation. We don't have the guile or gumption to put up a fight against the weakest of teams, as our recent form suggests.

Can't believe we are having this conversation, wow this is low. We've been a top 5 team for over a decade on average and now we're discussing battling in the relegation zone. I cannot remember in my lifetime as a Spurs fan a time like this. Even when Juande Ramos got sacked. To me Harry Redknapp would be a no brainer, he loves the club and will bring a good time feel and the players would love him. Lets get him in until end of season. On the plus side I can remember the early days of Alex Fergusson at Man utd where things weren't going for him and he was up for the sack, they stuck with him and he went on to win the FA cup that season and the rest is history. I can only say that for the young players this is great training and if they gel together we could have a similar team to that Man utd home grown crop of the 90s but i'm not sure Ange is anything like Fergie. The signings we’ve made under Lange are proving to be very good for the future, if not for now. Resigning timo for a second loan was a mistake, but probably not his mistake. He has not delivered any big names but the lack of champions league football and the wage structure don’t make us an attractive prospect.

Thomas actually has good game management skills, he makes the right substitutions, he adapts to the opposition and is flexible with his tactics, he can work with limited resources and he is an ambitious manager who would love a new challenge, he came to our stadium recently.
