It's disappointing how they don't take responsibility for their content/influence. They LITERALLY make money out of influencing people and then they can't come out and say it's dumb/irresponsible of people to be influenced by them. You have to be cognizant of a whole rural/semi-rural bunch of people that view the world through your lenses. i think if you're over 16-17 and u are still getting influenced by some people online then these influencers are not to blame but only you yourself are responsible for that. There are too many opinions of people blabbering on the internet you can't take everyone seriously. Have your own brain to figure out what's good for you and be accountable for your decisions. You are not ready for the world and you haven't worked on yourself enough if you get influenced so easily. The world outside home is not a safe place like your home so you need to stand on your ground with your strong opinions. Don't be a sheep, God has given you a brain of your own ,use that. Use the internet as a source of information, entertainment, knowledge and avoid the negatives of it. And if you're so afraid that you are easily influenced or under 16 that you can't segregate good or bad you should rather be off the internet than telling influencers that they should be responsible etc. I mean they should be responsible but you can't blame them for having a different point of view, because everyone has different opinions and they tend to clash as well. People have different take on life based on where they grew up be it rural or urban area, but content is not restricted to a particular area once it's out everybody irrespective of their background can watch it ,so to blame them is silly rather you should be smart enough to not get influenced easily. And you don't have to be extremely smart for this it's just basic common sense. I hope you got my point.

Majority of the audience need help deciding this because they are not well-informed. It is not someone's fault that they are not informed. Many people don't have access to information. The onus therefore lies on the influencer to send out the right message or promote the right products. at least to their knowledge. By your logic, influencers promoting pan masala are acceptable?

There are liquor shops in every city, Is the govt banning it? Even uneducated people know that pan masala and alcohol is not good for them but they still choose to consume it. So now tell me is it the individual's fault or the celebrity endorsing it. People in this world majorly work for money and they don't care about anyone else if they are getting paid enough, so if you're trying to tell them that they should have morals and not do that it doesn't make sense. And what are the exact products you are referring to that they are promoting.
