This is what we call our glue in weave, in the black community..this is also one of the most regretted hair techniques that we’ve thrown out because it’s caused traction alopecia and has been snatching out edges since the 90’s 😭🤦🏽‍♀️

He said the glue won't damage your hair.... but in all reality. Yes it will. I used to get quickweaves because they were easier and cheaper and the glue ripped out my hair even though they have a special solution to disolve the glue its so hard to get it all out. Consistantly using glue will degrade and hurt your hair. And maybe caucasian hair is different lol idk never experienced it. But just felt like Id put my 2 cents in. I feel like in Cali alot of ppl focud on how their hair looks rather than the health of it. But also Amber slayed this hair she looked great!

Love it! 💗 It’s so crazy cuz I used to glue in my own real hair extensions like 20 years ago! I’m 40 now. I used to do them meticulously and perfectly all by myself back in the day in my 20’s when I was doing event bartending and I did them so well that no one even knew they were extensions. After years of doing it though I started to lose too much hair because of the constant gluing and removing the extensions to wash them after a few days and having to wash my own hair and get any remaining glue out that got stuck in my own hair. Then I’d have to blow dry the extensions and straighten them and do the same to my own hair after it was all clean and then reapply them all back in again with the glue. Ugh! And I would do this over and over again. It was a lot! So at the end of the day it was a lot of work and it was a lot of strain on my natural hair, but I loved the look. I even tried the braiding technique and I got it done professionally. I had long human hair extensions sewn into small, flat braids that got braided using my own hair on my scalp. And yes the look did last longer, but it eventually wrecked my own hair that was within the braids. When they cut the threads that were holding the extensions to the braids, my own hair was breaking off and literally falling out when they took the braids out. My natural hair just became brittle and weak and it just got shorter and shorter from using extensions. I unfortunately had to stop using extensions altogether for a while and I let my own natural hair grow out for a little bit. Eventually and thankfully it grew out just enough that I was able to start using extensions again, but this time I switched over to clip in extensions. And oh my God! Hallelujah!!! The best solution ever for me!!! I loved them so much I even made my own double weft human hair clip ins as well. So much easier! So much healthier for my own hair because no more glue! No more sewing hair extensions into braids and having my hair break and split and fall out. I could literally just clip them in and out every single day and never have to even worry about it. No more damaging my hair. Same beautiful result just no glue! Lots of celebrities are using the clip ins now too. They’re awesome! As of now in my life I haven’t had to wear any extensions for probably about 10 years now because my hair grew out completely and it’s long and thick now because I stopped using glue and I stopped all the braiding and sewing. The clip ins helped me to be able to grow out my natural hair and it’s so beautiful and thick. I think I may order some clip ins again eventually. Just for the awesome look of them, and the shine and even the feel of them. Still love them! 🥰 If you’re thinking about clip ins.... A great website to order super amazing clip in extensions is www.Bellamihair.com they are amazing!!! You’ll love them! They are top notch! They are a little expensive, but so worth it! Check out their website. This is where I will be ordering from if the ones I want ever come back in stock. They’re always sold out in my color. But these are the best! Check them out. 🥰 Anyways, you look beautiful and so does your hair! Don’t let the glue or the sewn in extensions wreck your own natural hair like they did to mine! It took me years to grow back my beautiful mane! If you’re gonna do extensions...Clip in’s are the way to go! Trust me! I lived it! Lol Just my opinion love. 💕 Love you! Love your videos! I grew out my hair forever ago and it’s naturally this long and while I love it when it’s done like this, OMG IS IT A PAIN 😂 I get stopped literally everywhere I go from people asking me if it’s real, it takes forever to wash it and dry it and the summertime? It takes me 2 hours to get a sew in and that includes the braids lol when she said 4 hours...I was like HUH? Lol no shade to the stylist here because he was good, but you white girls out there should reach out to black stylists too if you tryna get your hair slayed. We been doing this for decades lol and that is where Kim got it from. When you call the stylist, tell her your hair texture (and that you're not black to make sure she has experience with your hair type), let her know you want it glued in and see how much she charges. Do your research on the stylist as you would any other before you go...

I always use bonding glue for a quick weave but never on my scalp. You can use conditioner to take it out...btw you look beautiful. Love it!

No, black women tend to sew their extensions in. We have to oil our hair to keep it hydrated so we don’t really use glue.

Elijah Johnson Lol I'm black and female. You don't have to explain this to me. There is more than one way to get extensions. The glue in quick weave is very common. Ppl with sew ins sometimes glue in a track at the top to fill the gap between the sewn track and their hair. Thanks though.
