HEXXISTENTIAL 2 years later and they’re still selling at a high price. NIKE has a 3 color ways on sale right now, however the rest are still going strong on other sneakerhead sites and forums. I’m laughing my ass off at all the fake hate these shoes caught in 2018, yet it grew on people and started selling out everywhere asap. Dude in the vid told it like it is: The pics don’t do the shoe justice, as they look even great in person with quality materials used. Legacy 312 is the perfect blend of 3 past styles all in 1.

Came for sneaker opinions, stayed for the smooth voicemail stylings of Nightwing. Great review as always, I hadn't noticed these were Sail before. I agree that the elephant print panels are the least cohesive part of the shoe, but they look good on-foot. I might be in for the Medicine Ball pair. Also, strong cosign on us being cheated by that leather quality not being the norm.

Big ups to Don C. Jordan Brand has been a big part of our identity in Chicago so he definitely makes us proud as a Chicago native. Hybrid models were never my cup of tea personally, but the quality looks pretty decent for the price.

I need that t-shirt! Also, I think you really did a great job explaining what it means to be a "collaborator" on a shoe versus being the one who designs the shoe. We often forget what each of those things mean. And I read the hate on these since they first leaked them and I won't lie, I'm not the biggest fan of the shoe either. The slab of the elephant print on the side is just super lazy to me. But like art, it's subjective to the viewer. Someone else might think this shoe is absolutely amazing and that's okay. They honestly remind me more of the Nike Air Revolution than anything else, but that's kinda what it has going for it, this whole 80s vibe. Especially with all those crazy colorways that are homages to other Nike models like the air tech challenge II, etc.

They will be legendary after they are all gone. I have noticed that they have not restocked the Don c color ways at all. Meaning this could be a one time color way. The done C pack materials are butter plus the Black and cement. I have 4 pair all different of course because I’m pleased with the difference the shoe brings.

I just replaced my Air Revolution game royal with the Legacy 312 hot lava. I've always been a sucker for the 80s/90s hi tops vibe. I know this is a J1/J3 hybrid but to me the shoe just screams Air Revolution. As for the strap, I'm used to having strapped units so I'm cool with it. The only negative for me on this shoe is the tongue, personally I'd rather have it in premium thick leather.

It’s different that signature shoes are designed by other people because Jordan, Kobe, bron etc. are athletes, not designers. But when you have a so called “collaboration” with a designer, the assumption is that set designer has contributed to the design. Not just scribbled his name on it

I think the shoe isn't for me but I appreciate the nice materials and colorways can really make and break a model. The infrared and black colorway this shoe is coming out in does wonders for it in my eyes. Might give em a shot if they fall in my lap. Those shoes are absolutely dope. The hate is dumb. The shoes are a mix of retro and future. They got the retro design and layout of the shoes. Some elephant design and dubzero mixed in. Straps are a futuristic techwear fashion. Overall, has the retro futuristic design to it. If I were to describe these shoes, I'd say it's retro, but not "retro".
