adidas SWITCH FWD

Pretty interesting design. Similar to the On midsole platform, which is a similar idea as Mizuno Wave plates. Also reminds me of the a3, an Adidas shoe from like 20 years ago. The Switch FWD seems like a nightmare to run in during fall, with a bunch of stuff on the ground, to say nothing of running on a light trail. Adidas has a history (moreso than other brands I feel, who are not innocent themselves) of trying to reinvent the wheel every few years. Springblade, a3, this... Just look at what their track and field athletes are training in. It's just the regular-looking shoes with whatever the latest midsole compound is.

If you’re doing a long run i think it’s better to consider a roomier fit to give room foot expansion (if it happens to you) other than that the it kinda looks like they took a page out of the currently trending On Running company (even tho they’re not the first to come up with porous midsole)

I know I've already commented but mine have just done a fast 11 miler today taking them over the 100 miles mark . The wear is minimal and I'm gonna say they are JUST as fast as my £240 prime X race shoes . Seriously wtf👍👍

Thank you for these reviews greatly appreciated it. I like basketball shoes and running shoes also. For some reason they remind me of the reebock shoes zig tech. I personally loved those. They were comfortable to run in. I had Spring blade too but they didnt last like my zig techs.

At first it made my feet tires, but then after a few wear its getting comfy, i only doing long walk with this ...ive all novablast 123, a new balance freshfoam more v4 ,and some ultraboasts , and this one is one of the most comfortable among those all...on par with the novablast 2.or maybe more, i ended up bought 3 of this when they just have discount ..yea the only porblem might be the durability but at that price its like who cares,

Just got these , simply coz in Asia it’s hard to get wide shoes , this is relatively wide( I have broad feet and I like room in my shoes ) . Did the first short run , after the first half of the run , got used to it

Continental rubber may be good. But how good is the glue between the continental rubber and the midsole foam? The glue will fail first. It is like having the best continental tyres on your car but the wheels fell off because the wheel nuts failed. In my opinion, the Continental Rubber is purely a marketing gimmick. I have a couple of Adidas shoes with such outsole..they peel off. The glue failed. Imagine gluing your outsole after every run??

I have a pair of Adidas Los Angeles and Alphabounce Beyond with a Continental rubber outsole and found that they are awesomely grippy and sure footed compared to the dozens of trainers that I have.

Chris or anybody in this comment section I have a question, I am totally blind and utilize a yellow lab seeing eye dog to take me around my college campus and I am looking for the most comfortable shoe out there, or at least one that I can walk around in all day long And won’t make my feet feel like they do when I wear my infrareds. I would really like a mid or a high just because sometimes my dog will walk me to the right of the sidewalk and I sometimes roll my ankle, but anybody’s help that can steer me in the right direction towards what they think is the most comfortable shoe out there would be much appreciated
